Which is exactly why I don't like it. The WW2 look is great because it makes it look custom. It's not very custom if you only find out that this design is the look of the entire squadron. I'm in the camp that believes that the look of the gunship is awesome because it does 2 things.ZForceCommander said:
Yow. Thats cheaper than it was originally in store. Nice find. I've watched for quite some time and any version of the gunship goes for a pretty penny. I finally sucked it up after watching for 8 months or so got one. Now I need one of these Arc-170 since I missed the first one.Joe_B said:Check Ebay, I kept trying and got one for $35 shipped last spring.
There's an easy fix for that. Ignore that fact.TerdVader said:Which is exactly why I don't like it. The WW2 look is great because it makes it look custom. It's not very custom if you only find out that this design is the look of the entire squadron.ZForceCommander said:
Does it look like the paint aps in the pic below? If so, I believe that it's intentional.ckbuddha said:So I opened up my ARC-170 tonight. Very nice ship in terms of size and appeal, however, the paint app leaves a bit to be desired. There are scratches and areas where the blue paint rubbed off on the top of the ship, and discoloration on the tops of the wings. The wings almost look like they were molded in the blue color. Anyone else have similar issues?
I was the one who said that about it taking the uniqueness from the gunship, in about 4 different posts. and I was not gointg to get this. But then I got it for ChristmasJoe_B said:I agree with it's passability. Someone said it before - having this just takes away from the uniqueness of the gunship (which I love). I was tempted seeing this in the store on multiple occasions but ultimately I won't miss not having this vehicle.
The only Target exclusives I picked up were the TIE Bomber and Hoth pack...the rest just didn't feel worthwhile.
