I have spent hours now scouring online/offline archives and I have know idea what version of Vader this is. He's got a 2001 stamp and the whole body is that cloudy translucent color, anybody got an idea?

It's from the JEDI TRAINING ON DAGOBAH (Battle Pack) The Legacy Collection:
Spirit of Darth Vader is a repaint of the figure from 2003's SAGA Imperial Forces multipack, making this a new figure for this set that has never been released before.

Ahhh I see, this was really driving me crazy first figure ever I had no idea what it is. That figures it's from a Battle Packs I pay absolutely no attention to those.

They seriously should have put this vader in that Battle Pack. It would've made much more sense!
Another example of how the production cost of a Battle Pack outweighed making sense.
