One of the things I hope to hear on the ForceCast one day is Jimmy doing something rather Pythonesqu in his "outragous unthinkable Engish accent". When he talks like that, he almost sounds like Eric Idle.

Anyways, I am interested to see if there are any other ForceCast listeners that are also Python fans.

My favourite is, and always will be, life of Brian. But I do have a soft spot for the Galaxy Song...

The universe itself keeps on expanding and expanding, in all of the directions it can whizz

I am trying to do a SW version of the Camelot song, with Obi-Wan saying "It's only a model", which it is.

I love Python, but must admit I have really only seen a handful of the shows and of course the movies.

There is the infamous Star Trek camelot video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=luVjkTEIoJc. A Star Wars one would be hilarious.

There are so many great Python bits and songs that I'm amazed there aren't more videos out there.

Edit: After a brief search, I found this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wm6IA_sZ1lw . Beware, comic violence and hilarity ensue.

The Holy Grail is by far my favorite. I still laugh out loud at the black night every time!

I love it all! Just recently I was able to pick up every tv episode on Amazon for $30! What a deal!

Holy Grail is definitely one of my favorite. But I love the old cheesy stuff too.

Funniest Python sketch to me is the Dead Parrot.

"THIS PARROT IS NO MORE! IT HAS CEASED TO BE!"

I have a python CD I listen to at work sometimes, and everytime that sketch plays, I just lose it. Everyone looks at me like I'm nuts, lol...

Python cam into my life early as the local PBS station showed the old shows, and then I got into Fawlty Towers! I have a soft spot Meaning of Life, but Holy Grail is classic.

Jawas love English humor. Monty Python, Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, all pure genius. Not necessarily the bestest or the favorite but we routinely reference The Cheese Shop sketch with, "It's a bit runnier [saltier, lumpier, burnteder, etc.] than you like." and the occasional "Oh, wait, the cat's eaten it!"

I've been a devout follower of Pratchett for the last 20 years, ever since I first read The Colour of Magic. I always knew Jawas had great taste!

And speaking of Fawlty Towers, watching thru Season 2 again (haven't watched the show in a dozen years) I found a great TESB link! Granted it appears approximately 6 years prior to the release of Empire, but in the 30th Anniversary year, anything seems appropriate.

If you watch the episode called "Waldorf Salad," in which a "rude" American comes to stay and makes many undue demands on John Cleese's character, you might be surprised to see a Rebel General in the episode.

The American struck me as familiar and when the credits rolled, sure enough it was Bruce Boa! General Rieekan from Episode V! What a great way to celebrate the Anniversary of TESB
