What a beauty, and its not even painted yet. I don't collect the 6 inch line, but this one is tempting.

Agreed. I focus on OT collecting, but considering Ahsoka is probably alive during the OT period, I might try to find a way to force her into my display.
 
Beautiful, she looks amazing. First of many Rebels to come I hope :)

I have the same dilemma. But if she's gonna be one of those $50 impossible to find ones then forget it.
 
I just had an accident in my pants! the good kind.
Ahsoka is my personal most favorite Star Wars character of all time. This 6" figure came out of nowhere, and I'm very pleasantly surprised! OMG I did not think we'd ever get to see an Ahsoka 6" version til a couple years from now. This is fantastic news. Thank you Hasbro!
 
It's nice. I get one of every 6" TBS figure anyway (more of the characters I love the best), so one of these would have been a buy, regardless.
 
Dang, she looks great! Definitely hope top paint apps are given here!
 
That was a nice surprise for sure, and I'm really liking it. Her Rebels look was what I was hoping for too. Looking forward to seeing it painted.
 
Ok. I cried a little. How awesome.

Ok, we're clearly getting a Saga Legends or Mission Series Rebels 3.75" Ahsoka. Now a 6". Next please. Sideshow sixth scale Ahsoka (any age). I would forego rent to pay for that. I would also fist fight somebody.
 
That one is pretty amazing. What a beautiful figure! Gotta love the fine details in the sculpt. I'm not a big fan of Ahsoka in figure form, but I liked her as a character in TCW, especially from season three onwards. However, this one is a must-buy.
 
So... This is just another smack in the face to us SA 3.75" Collectors!? First 5POA, now 6"! Nothing like going out of your way to exclude a sect of Collectors. lol
 
Looks great, now gimme Ezra, Kanan, Chopper, Hera, Sabine, Zeb, Inquisitor and Agent Kallus!!!!

Interesting point. Hasbro may have to put the OT figures on hold, and capitalize on the Present Day Star Wars characters. It's a new dawn. I don't mind. I'm ready for the new era of Star Wars characters from tv & movies.
 
Looks nice enough, but the new look is too new and unfamiliar to me. Personally I'd prefer a season 3 version.
 
I have no interest in the cartoons, and hate how corny the figures look in cartoon style, but this realistic style figure is awesome. I'm also a sucker for **** twi'lek girls, here's hoping we get an Ayla and a decent Oola without the gaudy arm/leg joints of slave Leia.

This is a twi'lek isn't it? The back of her head makes me wonder if she might be some other race but she looks great regardless.

I could not possibly care less, even if I tried really really really hard.......uggggh.......nope. Still can't possibly care less.

But hey....congrats to all you guys that want this....rest easy tonight knowing there's at least one more out there on the pegs for you to buy cause I sure as hell can't be bothered to buy it.

I'm with Seroquel on this one. I'd take a pathetic cantina alien over anakins little girl bff apprentice bug eyed anime disney character any day.
Those pathetic aliens make the Star Wars universe as brilliant as it is, make it diverse. This is a collectors line, who is really wanting all the Disney characters first, really?
Rebels characters should stay in the 5poa line and out of black series until all characters are exhausted.
 
I'm happy that they're exploring multiple eras but it's a weird choice - she isn't even the main character in the show she's from. A secondary / tertiary character from a spin-off animated show BEFORE farmboy Luke or old man Kenobi is a bit of a kicker.
 
It is indeed an odd choice but she is hugely popular with both kids and adults.
 
I'll take her over another Luke (5 already) and Old Obi, who's young version will be on the pegs 'til the end of time. Besides, who's to say that the Ahsoka figure isn't associated with a theatrical appearance?
 
I mostly escaped the fiendish clutches of Star Wars collecting a few years ago, and haven't bought a figure since last February. I'd managed to mostly stop caring, but (damn it all), this happened. I always wanted a realistic Ahsoka figure, but I didn't like or buy the 3.75-inch figure they released a while back. Didn't think a better option would ever come along, either. I'm VERY surprised and glad to see I was wrong. It's a little unfortunate that she's the wrong size to fit in with the rest of my collection, but I guess nothing's perfect. As long as the final figure looks good (and is reasonably priced and easy to find) I'll most likely be getting her.

This is a weird comment... Ahsoka...is an alien lol. Judging by your comment you think she's pathetic alien anyway which fits right in with your pathetic aliens are brilliant criteria, seems like a double standard just because she's a cartoon character. The simpler thing to say is you just hate the Clone Wars/Rebels show period.

At the end of the day all the characters are Disney characters now, though for the record she was originally designed in the Lucas era and approved by George himself. Not of that matters anymore, it's all Star Wars regardless of who's making it.

I'm looking forward to this figure, I'd rather this figure over useless background characters. She'll open the door for other cartoon figures to be made.

Ahsoka is also a pretty popular character with young girls, don't forget girls need role models in figure form as well.

The Clone Wars and Rebels are part of Star Wars canon, just because your not a fan doesn't mean everyone shares your views. Since she plays a role in season 2 of Rebels it makes sense to have her in this scale for those collecting the 6" line. Also keep in mind it's important to keep characters and figures that are in current media on toy shelves (provided Hasbro can get them to shelves), sorry but the 3rd alien on the left in the background of the cantina would be nice but chances are it wouldn't be overly popular or sell well at retail. Ahsoka on the other hand should sell pretty well. It's an awesome looking figure unpainted, wait till she's all painted up.

I just think that Ahsoka is a Disney style character while I realise not a spawn of Disney I think George Lucas wanted his own style of Disney Princess. You're right all characters are now property of Disney but let's remember not all of them started out that way.
People can't bash on OT aliens because they came first, they have probably inspired dozens of prequel and beloved CW aliens. I don't care how much screen time they got they will still be playable action figures and look cool as heck.

On a positive note if we are gonna receive animated characters in realistic form can we please get Cad Bane and Embo before Anakin and Obi Wan.
