Since the promo shot shows her kneeling, they should have posed her in her “boss pose” from Season 7:

While not one of my most sought after figures, only because it's relatively new, it's still nice to get a more modernized version of her even if it isn't the Mandalorian version. At least it will be fairly easy to turn this one into that so I ordered two.

It's releases like this that keep me pulling me back in, or not letting me leave completely.

Nice to get this version of Ahsoka.

. . . So, when we getting her orange helmeted Clone Troopers too?

Such a glorious sculpt, glad TVC is getting another Ahsoka - she has really become a high ranking fan favorite. My only wish was that they included her cloak from the series finale. I hope to see a figure for her Mandalorian appearance as well as from the Rebels finale.

This Ahsoka puts the one we got for Black Series to absolute shame.
I wouldn't say that, we don't even have it in had yet. A LOT can change in the span of 8-9 months after only looking at a promo image. That said, so far she does look absolutely fabulous other than those knee joints. I hope they aren't changing up the articulation yet again to replicate hideous joint designs. Just keep the old style wheer you didn't see hinge pins on the side of the legs ..

I'm kind of on the fence. I love Ahsoka, but I'm not digging the more...animated look to this figure. Would much rather have gotten one based on her look in The Mandalorian.

But let's be real, I'm gonna buy it.

Preordered on Dorkside. I don't want to have to worry about this. Also finally makes up for the impossibility of finding CW44 Season 3 Ahsoka.

With TVC having many devoted carded collectors, having the cloak included (presumably on the figure) would’ve been detrimental to the overall appearance.

And cloaks in the scale are not too difficult to come by for anyone that wants to recreate the scene.

Or it would be a good opportunity to make a variant of the figure with the cloak, packaged in with a Vintage Collection release of a blue repainted TCW Y-Wing. If only.

And release that with a kitbashed (but improved) Rex with a removable helmet and based on the latest 501st ARC trooper body.

. . . A man can dream, right?

It’s sad when dreams now would likely have been reality several years ago!

If only they still released small creatures as accessories. I think TVC is too restrictive in that way, perhaps when the line goes on hiatus at some point, they'll offer larger bubbles to incorporate such accessories. Luckily, there are surely more Ahsoka figures in the pipeline, she's a sure selling fan favorite. I expect her Mandalorian release will provide the cloak, and maybe her Rebels figure could include a Morai.

Absolutely true. This version has accurate forearms, no lazy grey elbows, and the correct knee and shin armor. The chest and head look to be the 6” shrunk down but overall it’s a huge improvement. I don’t buy a ton of VC but this one and Maul were must buys.

She's absolutely glorious! Worth the wait I'd daresay, simply due to her having ankle tilts. And yes, this does blow the TBS version away, and it's all the better too because 3.75 will always be my true scale for SW figures (and also because the TBS version showed up in Quebec for about a minute, only to never be seen again).
I'm still a bit surprised that they didn't go with a more realistic face sculpt, something like what Hot Toys did. However, it's all the better because she looks like she might be able to fit in with TCW figures. Can't wait man!

The realistic face sculpt can wait for the Mandalorian version. Definitely more Ahsoka to come.

I don't know the standard bubble size for 95% of the figures, even if there is one but there are instances like the Walmart Din figure with 2 larger accessories, BY and Ice Cream maker. SO it's not beyond possible, and TBH there's plenty of space in a standard bubble behind the figure.

That's absolutely true - they can and have used bigger bubbles and can pack accessories behind the figure, but I'm sure they'd get complaints from the OCD crowd that wants them to look pristine on card. Someone above said it would be "detrimental to the overall appearance " to include the cloak...lol...I mean c'mon man. These are just action figures, I'd rather a figure come with all the accessories to complete the character, over having it look a certain way on the card. They can easily pack the cloak hanging off the shoulders, so the full figure is still in view.

The bubble issue is one that would be great for a news site to ask in person at a con or Toy Fair.

If TVC is meant for collectors and barely shows up at retail where window shopping occurs, why spread the bubbles wide to show all the accessories?

Unless they have sales data suggesting the target demo reaches a bit further than adult collectors. Or Walmart/Target are requesting all the accessories be seen to increase the perceived value.

Like the new Maul, I preordered one Ahsoka yesterday at EE. Looks great; can't wait.

Looking forward to getting this figure, and also very curious to see how the card art will turn out, since they go with 'realistic' interpretations of animated characters for the card backs. I think I may be in the minority, but I really loved the card art for the first TVC Ahsoka.

Maybe this is just me, but ... I hope with this iteration, Hasbro writes "Ahsoka TANO" in the name pill. (No caps, of course.)

I never understood the plain "Ahsoka" name or even the similar "Leia (Hoth Outfit)." The characters have surnames.
