This may or may not have been discussed before and i apologise if it has. Please link me to any thread if it has

What i would like to ask to the community is

"would it or would it not be beneficial to put a date of grade on a carded figure grading label".Obviously in small fonts, the date of actual grading.

I'm aware you can check on the date of grading on the archive database, but rather than going through that process wouldn't it be better to know from a quick glance when the piece was graded.

Opinions?

Yes. I think it shouldn't just be MOC but all items. Loose figures degrade. But even beyond that (like it or not) standards and accepted practices in grading will change over time and knowing the grade date puts things in perspective.

I don't think it's needed. With ubiquitous Internet and smart phones if you were at a show or something and really cared you could look it up on your phone
