Hi all, I was after some advice regarding acrylic cases. I'm sure there's plenty of general threads around, but I couldn't find anything on these specific cases.

I've got some nice Oscars Cases from years ago that work really well for some of my regular sized vintage carded bubbles, but am now chasing some cases for the deeper bubble cards I have.

It appears I have a couple of options, one being GW Acrylic, which look fantastic. The only issue is that I've contacted them and here in Australia they are unfortunately out of stock at the moment, and could be for a while. I've however, found this other case, but can't really find any reviews on them. Has anyone tried out ASC cases? They look pretty great, but was after some people's opinions on them.

Thoughts on whether I should wait for the GW Acrylic cases to come back in stock, or try these ones out?

Thanks all, look forward to your responses!

Dave

All my cases are GW Acrylic and I'm very happy with them! I would recommend you go with GW. They regularly restock.

Are you a member of any of the Aussie Facebook pages Dave? Reach out to Mark Rewuk for local cases to see if he can hook you up. There's a couple of other local acrylic sellers so jump into one of the local groups and throw up a post, I'm sure you'll get a bunch of suggestions to help you out :)

I am also a very big fan of GW Acrylic. I'm also in need of a couple cases, and due to being impatient I went with a source I found on ebay because I don't want to wait the 3-4 weeks until the restock. But if I'm not in a hurry I prefer GW and will continue to support them.

I really need to figure out how best to preserve my Death Star Compactor and Hoth Ion Cannon boxes.

I know AFA is a dirty word however, they do sell custom made to order cases. Not expensive and pretty much the same prices as Ian. Unless he decides to make cases to fit.

Without getting into the grading or not debate, there is nothing wrong with mentioning AFA sells cases. I was considering buying cases from them myself, until I found GW.

GW hands down. AFA CGA has custom but they're on hold at the moment. Only mentioned that because they were offering any size sliding bottom custom.
