Who else wants to army build some Mando's?

"While it makes no overt references to the TV show, this battle pack of four Mandalorian Warrior minifigures and a swoop bike is more than likely a homage to the showdown that occured during the third episode of the series. And though the scene didn't include a swoop and the Mandalorians who made their appearance during the ambush wore jet packs - something the minifigures in 75267 Mandalorian Battle Pack haven't been accessorised with - this set is a welcome addition to the Star Wars theme.

With a price point in the region of $15 and an inventory expected to equal 102 elements, 75267 Mandalorian Battle Pack is due out on December 27th in Europe (with an expected US shelf date of January 2nd), reports the German retail site JB Spielwaren, which first added the set to their stock lists."

Looks like they are going to be clonetrooperizing the mandos with the different colors and decos.

I'd say they are doing the opposite. The clonetrooper minifigs were decorated by unit/rank/specialty which means that armies would have hundreds of clonetroopers with the same markings. The new Mando minifigs are individual because the armour reflects the person and their experiences, rather than what their duty in the GAR is.

Sure, that makes total sense, and serves the same purpose. Like astromechs, they can make 100 different paint scheme variants, and we'll gotta get them all!

AH, I understand what you mean now, yes. From a LEGO/collecting POV they're doing just what you said.

Not much to the set, definitely a buy for the min-figures. I think the speeder is the same as a previous one, but different colours. The base is just some random pieces jumbled together to form an outcropping.
