501st Clone Trooper - VC240

I still think the 501st and Yoda should have been in a case with other "greatest hits with face improvements." I know there are more differences on these than just the real-face paint application, but the "all-new" figure cases should just have figures never made before or completely new sculpts of old characters than needed an update.

That new head just shows me how awful the original one was.

It wasn't awful because it's based on the EP2 Clone, Bodie Tayler's likeness and they never corrected it when they switched to the EP 3 helmet.
So that is about the only noteworthy improvement, that a phase 2 clone has an accurate head sculpt.

However, I bet when they eventually reissue for phase 1 helmet again they don't switch it back or tool a new Bodie head they'll just keep the Morrison sculpt. lol

Eh, that's not uncommon. Look at all the shades of orange rebel pilots have been!

Yeah it's always been that way, even though Hasbro has stated a concentrated effort to keep them the same color for all 501st there's no way to get the same exact color shade every time out. Especially when you buy paint in the quantities they do and the supply runs dry they have to make a switch, or a paint company is no longer able to get a certain pigment thus causing a slight change either darker or lighter.

While not 100% exact match every time at least it's better than it was prior to TVC.

I definitely think removable helmets shouldn't be a thing going forward. I much prefer the Bo-Katan style with the alternate helmeted head.

FWIW, my case arrived back on 5/17. My DWM case was supposed to ship this month, but I noticed last week the release date now shows January of 2023.
