I haven't seen a thread started on these yet, hope it's alright I do so.

Is anyone else excited about these? SourceHorsemen.com • View topic - Mythic Legions

There hasn't been a lot of info since they were first announced earlier this year, which is a shame, but the plan seems to be a 4" line utilizing the Glyos system of interchangeable parts. No word (atm) on when they're planning to start, but the idea is for a kickstarter, and tiered level of figures, some more customize-able than others. Larger scaled versions were mentioned as part of the stretch goals, I know on some forums the 6" crowd were pitching fits about the scale.

With Boss Fight Studios 1:18 line(s), Acid Rain, and now these, there is still some fight left in the scale, even if big name companies seem to be abandoning it.

I really do like these and understand why the Four Horsemen ended up choosing this scale but I won't be buying much of anything from this line. Those skeleton warriors do look sick, I just don't have anything to display them with.

I ordered way too many of these figures, doubles included for making Dragon Age custom figures. I can't wait for them to ship.

Is this line 4: or 6"?? I read somewhere they went with 6". and I was so disappointed, I wanted to pick several of them up,

yeah it seems like at the very last minute they said they were going to be 6" after having said they would be 4". I spent all that time following and waiting and getting hyped up for them just for the let down.

Thanks for the Info, I can Add these hopes to my curshed pile along with the Force Awaken line and Bridge Direct Hobbit line.

Separated at birth...

Did I miss the discussion of this somewhere in 59 pages of comments? Are they talking about this elsewhere? Even Vitus, the Barbarian Builder and at a bit of a stretch, Gorgo Aetherblade have an old LJN D&D counterpart. I am so looking forward to the finished figures shipping. I kind of wish I would have purchased more of the test shot paint match Elkhorn and Strongheart. I'd love to see a Warduke Mythic Legion figure.

Holy crap, those are like a 300% improvement! Really like Thord Ironjaw and Asterionn. Definitely could use that armor, and Thord would work well in the Dwarf ranks!

now I'm just getting mad all over about them going 6" at the last moment.

Yes, I'm really impressed with what I am seeing. Even some of the other figures have a kinship of sorts with these new figures.

Just the opposite for me. Making these 6" has me all sorts of giddy. I can't wait to start turning one of them into my Grey Warden Character from Dragon Age.

My first wave of these did arrive on Tuesday. Too late to play with them too much but I wanted to post a quick cell phone picture. Can't wait till the rest arrive. Hopefully, it will tide me over until March.

I should have gotten some when I had the chance...

Why did you buy the unpainted versions? Do you plan on painting them yourself?

They are limited to just 10 figures of each character and they arrived before Christmas and not sometime around March of 2016. I purchased 2 of the Orc Legion Builders so I can paint one of them.

I really wish these had been 4 inch scale. Are they based or inspired by the older D&D figures?

I'm the opposite. I was delighted beyond belief that they opted to do this in 6" scale. Having a few of the test shots has only served to justify my delight.

From Toy Fair:

That is one sweet gift and therefore likely incredible girlfriend. Does she want to date a woman and gift her awesome things from Four Horsemen? :p

Not real sure to be honest. I am aware of what kind of females she finds attractive and if you are into gaming in general, and board games in particular, that would certainly be a plus for her. ;)

I opened another figure last night. Attlus The Conqueror!

Probably the last of my series one Mythic Legion figures. There might be one or two additional figures I pick up for parts and I'll likely buy a Skeleton Legion Builder at some point but as of right now, I think I can say I'm done with Series 1.[FONT=&quot]

I just got Gorthokk recently and he is pretty cool. I'm having a tough time deciding what to get with all of the goblins and skeleton builder that were just revealed for series two.

Some pics I took of Gorthokk.

Starting the painting process a little while ago. This is the test piece for a custom dwarf fighter. If he turns out well, I will start on my human and dwarf Grey Wardens.

Assembly hide some of the detail but he doesn't look too bad. Still need to decide on helmet ornamentation. I hate the antlers so I might use the small or large horns. In a perfect world, I would use a set of wings but I need those for my Grey Warden figures.
