Apart from the orange droid on the far left, are any of these from the OT?
I know the black one is 000's counterpart....
Thanks for all the pictures. It does help answer my questions about these. Do they feel like Kenner figures like the Stan Solo ones? Which type do you like better? That’s a remarkable collection, alright. Dang, that’s a lot of awesome custom goodness!
I feel like I've seen the White & Yellow R5 in Outlaws on Toshara... which is so addicting to play and sight see.I'm doing a little digging at the moment...
Going left to right.
R5-A2 from Mos Eisley spaceport. As near as I can tell, you are right, he's the only one from the Original Trilogy.

The green one with the white stripe on his face could be R5-U8 from the Clone Wars.
![]()
Ditto for the blue one, he's possibly R5-S9.

BT-1, seen here with 0-0-0.
![]()
The red one with the white dome is R5-X2, who was in Jabba's viewing box during the Podrace in Phantom Menace.

I already mentioned the two on the far right in my previous post, so that just leaves this guy.

Anyone know what he's from?
The best match I got for "stripes on dome R5" was this guy, R5-2JE from Rise of Skywalker, but the color and other details are wrong.

I like the Stan Solo ones better myself. They are more true to the Kenner design, IMO.Thanks for all the pictures. It does help answer my questions about these. Do they feel like Kenner figures like the Stan Solo ones? Which type do you like better?
I wish Hasbro would make a Ywing pilot and that Mouse-bat looking alien. I'm about to do a mission in Outlaws where I help breakout one of those aliens to join my crew. Here are some comparison pics, along with some other pics of a few mixed in, as well as some arrivals joining some old favorites.

When I first got them, I thought they were spot on (aside from the lack of head-clicking, which honestly is only a thing if you plan to turn their heads all the time.)Thanks for all the pictures. Perfect. Just the the review I was looking for. I don’t mind them being a little bigger or different. Just that they look like something Kenner “would”have done. Thank you so much for all the info! When I first got them, I thought they were spot on (aside from the lack of head-clicking, which honestly is only a thing if you plan to turn their heads all the time.)
When you compare them to SS/Kenner, they are a little bigger, as you can see--but if we're going on feel, I'd call them equal for the most part. Personally, I prefer SS clear domes to removable PCF ones. I like some details on PCF more than SS on a couple, and vice versa for the rest. The off-white on the SS plastic is a winner. On the other hand, I didn't know I wanted a screen-accurate R5 until I had one.
I like having them all -- I think my opinion is subjective enough to be limited to me. If you're on a budget, I don't see a need to replace any SS figures, but otherwise, I'd say these add a quality look to any display. Recommended.

For anyone not keeping score of our embarrassment of riches regarding professionally made astromech droids, here's what I have for SS and PCF so far:

A solid dome R2-Q5 would sell well IMO. I'd say some who already have the pop-up lightsaber ver would likely pick up a solid-dome re-issue.I really wish Stan Solo would reissue a few of the old astromech droids. I missed a few somehow thinking I had them. Not until I moved my collection did I notice I am missing one R2 unit I would swear I had!

I'm thinking something may be up with him. It's very odd that the carded Tonnika's haven't been added to the US sites yet even though they have been available for months.
Right, like I said, the carded ones were never added and they have been out for months. The loose ones are up there, no carded. https://stansolocreationsusa.com/?offset=60

Yes. Let me know if you or anyone is interested in more comparison pics. It's always fun to take pics.Am I correct in the origin of each item?

Can you take comparison shots of R3-Y2?Yes. Let me know if you or anyone is interested in more comparison pics. It's always fun to take pics.
The PCF droids appear to be more in common with the Droid Factory R2-D2, particularly the legs.View attachment 523089
Thank you for providing these comparison pics! Such a handy reference and an aid to decision-making on the duplicated characters.
I'm stealing it for my archives and annotating it. Am I correct in the origin of each item?

Bonus RFT?!! Thought he stopped the bonus for purchases over $100 a long time ago. Congrats!Received my carded Tonnikas, R4-E1 and a bonus loose RFT from Stan Solo today
I enjoy taking these shots. While taking these pics, I noticed that the PCF R5 is about the same size as the original, while SS's is smaller. You'll see the original R2 is also relatively close in size to the original. A couple of folks mentioned the *magic* of SS's work, and I agree; however, these PCF droids don't have any less Kenner feeling. Again, recommended. Can you take comparison shots of R3-Y2?![]()

Thanks for all the pics! Really helps showing how both types look next to classic Kenner. They all look really nice! Definitely see the legs on the PFC ones are longer but it doesn’t ruin the overall feel in a collection for meI enjoy taking these shots.
