Hey all you Rebelscum! Hasbro just revealed the HasLab Rancor in it's (mostly) final form! New reveals for stretch goals 2 and 3 have also been unveiled: a carded Salacious B. Crumb and a newly sculpted Jedi Luke Skywalker. All the details can be found at Hasbro Pulse. Check out the new pictures!

Tier 3 Unlock: 16,000 Backers Needed
Star Wars The Black Series Salacious B. Crumb Mini

This Kowakian monkey-lizard may be small in stature, but its presence is certainly large. In this unlock, The Black Series 6-inch-scale Salacious B. Crumb does not go unnoticed, even on its mini Kenner-inspired cardback. The team drew inspiration for this one from The Vintage Collection’s 2011 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Salacious B. Crumb figure. Now we’re bringing it to an even more special level by putting it on a cardback celebrating the spirit of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. You can’t find Salacious B. Crumb on a mini cardback anywhere else in the galaxy except here at HasLab.

Tier 4 Unlock: 19,000 Backers Needed
Star Wars The Black Series Luke Skywalker Figure

Everyone’s favorite Jedi Knight, Luke Skywalker, gets a fresh look in this unlock. For the first time in 8 years, this specific Luke Skywalker figure will have a newly sculpted photoreal design. A truly epic addition to any display or collection, and an iconic addition to your Rancor display. Without Luke Skywalker’s death-defying encounter, how would we know the ferocity of the Rancor??? Hopefully we won’t have to find out. Luke comes with a removable soft goods cloak, a blaster, and, of course, a lightsaber. To complete this galactic figure, we’ve put Luke on a classic Power of the Force cardback with a Special Collectors Coin.

What do you think about this project? Sound off below!

What an utter disaster.

Honestly it started very good. Even I, who don't back it, were a little thrilled about seeing a colored version, and live even.
And be amazed about how big it really is. And the backer numbers proved to me I was not alone in thinking this. I followed along and updated - at the highest point it was 5146 backers.
And for a moment I actually thought to myself, they might have a chance at convincing me to drop the crazy money.

Then came the Tier reveals - well... they were revealed before they did it in the live stream.
The Haslab site already had them showing and other sites reported on it.

But they are outrageously arrogant if they think those reveals would appease the collectors. I cannot believe they have no clue of what the buzz have been since the reveal of Tier 2.

As I am writing this, they've lost more than 100 backers today, from 5146 and I am quite sure it will dip below 5000 before the day is over.

If today was some kind of attempt at getting the project back on track, it failed. Hard.

When I went to bed this monstrosity had 5005 backers. Now it has 4852. This was going great until they revealed crappy pack-ins and terrible paint. WHERE IS MALIKILI?! Wouldn't he have been the logical final tier? Why are we getting that silly monkey at all with the rancor?

I feel bad for the guys who did so much work on this only to have the marketing department kill it in the crib.

If anything, I think the drop in backers (4750 as of typing this) shows that collectors won't toss a bunch of money at a product if they think it's not worth it. I feel this is a problem with a number of their collector targeted releases - lots of repacking and repainting at inflated prices, its frankly out of hand.
