is there a way to edit the main title of the actual thread? i tried by "advance edit" but it only edits a title within the thread. i would like to keep using my same thread i created but it seems i can't edit/update the title...

That option should be available in the "Go Advanced" screen.

What are you seeing when you click that?

once i'm in the thread i click on edit-go advance. in the advance editing mode, i see "reason for edit" (on the top) and below the title section. i made a title change and proceeded with the save changes button. it saves the changes but the edited title appears in the actual thread and not in the main forum.

Just to cancel out another possibility...you are trying to edit the original post and not one of the replies within the thread, correct?

Editing is not working. I have sold some items in my sales thread and cannot subtract them off the originall post or edit in any way.

Same here. I started a for sale thread several months ago and have been updating it almost daily.. when I went to do so this afternoon, the edit button had disappeared.

My edit button is not working also in the non-starwars classified section.

When we did the latest update to the forum, it messed up a mod that we had in place for editing. It's been turned off until it can be fixed, so you should be able to edit now.
