What do you think about AP? And why there is no AP released any more?

    Comments please...

Personally I don’t care about the promos or any other versions of different letters under the base of the busts, don’t even care what number I get, I’m only interested if it’s undamaged & painted decently..., obviously the character being something I want is the primary part or I’d not purchase it but quality control is the main thing after that, they can make 4 million for all I care, I just want 1 & don’t look at future money potential as that for me isn’t part of collecting.

Somewhere in this section there is a thread and pictures about the mini bust you are making reference to. I think the idea of a rare item when it comes to collectibles is much in the eyes of the beholder. A low edition number, AP and/or Promo writing under the base is such a minute difference from the regular run that it bears very little importance or none at all. To me, the never release to the public aspect of it, is more attractive than being an AP. Even its private run for ILM and Crew was set high (2600 pieces), according to people with inside information.

Edit: I found the thread about the Death trooper Specialist Crew 2015 https://forum.rebelscum.com/showthread.php?t=1131787

I got a discolored Maul Hologram mini-bust a long time ago. I asked them about it and they sent me a promo one to replace it with.

Honestly I forgot all about it until now.

I think when something is very rare then I’m happy if I manage to get one, my Doctor Who collection has some pieces that I’m quite happy I managed to get but Star Wars wise I’m only collecting mini-busts now so they aren’t scarce as we know, I am always relieved when the order process goes ok & I get the McQuarrie’s without stressing out over it though.

Nice. I am very happy that I have pulled the trigger with that one.

I totally agree about the numbers/AP/Promo s etc. Bu something rare, not released in public clicks my collector gene May be that's why I a keep renewing my PGM for the last years. But seeing a good amount of PGM exclusive minibusts still not sold out makes me rethink.

Anyway I will keep hunting. Any other crew minibust to hunt?

I think that was the only one they released.
