Autographs & Photographs: Classifieds Forum Rules - PLEASE READ

    General Rules

    - No auctioning (eBay or otherwise) is permitted. That means you cannot create a post stating that you will take offers and sell an autograph to the highest bidder.

    - You may not use the forum to promote or advertise auctions.

    - When selling or trading an autograph, you must include a picture as well as all relevant information, such as a description of the autographed item and the price. No exceptions.

    - Do not start more than one For Sale or For Trade thread at a time. If you have multiple items to sell or trade, put them all in the same thread and title your thread to reflect this.

    - Do not delete images of autographs or erase your thread title once you’ve sold or traded something. Simply edit the title with “(SOLD)” or "(TRADED)" at the end. The board is a historical record of sales/trades and should be kept unaltered so collectors can always go back and research past transactions.

    - Do not post non-transactional messages in someone else’s For Sale or For Trade thread. If you wish to discuss someone’s asking price, do so in private via PM or email. Wishing someone good luck on their sale or simply telling someone how nice their item looks is okay, but keep it to a minimum.

    - If you are selling or trading anything other than Star Wars items, please label your thread with an "OT:" at the beginning to help those not interested in non-Star Wars items from wasting their time. As long as there is at least one Star Wars item in the post, the "OT:" title is not needed.

    - Anyone who (A. accepts personal items from another collector for assistance at a show, B. accepts personal items for a private signing, C. accepts money for an item or items being sold, D. accepts items in trade for other items, E. accepts money and/or items for any reason,) must respond within 7 days of receiving an email or private message regarding the transaction, unless prior notice has been given alerting the other party that you will be unable to be online for a longer period of time. If you read someone's message and you don't have time to fully respond, simply state that you got the message and will respond soon. This just help's avoid the frustration of wondering about your stuff.

Guys, there are a lot of off topic posts being started in the classifieds lately. Off topic means anything not related to Star Wars in some way. If you need to post a thread about non-Star Wars autographs, please label it with an "OT:" before the title so those that only wish to read the Star Wars stuff know to avoid it.

Quoting this post for those that may have missed it the first time around. Lot of off topic posts being started, so please follow the posted rules.

    Hey Chris,

Just a heads up that it seems we can no longer edit our thread titles for some reason. This isn't just me, is it? I've noticed that people have to keep creating new sale threads every so often, and I presume that's why.

I've been having trouble with that, too...no idea why.

Just a little reminder for anyone using the classifieds:

I always liked this archiving system on Rebelscum, it applies to other sections of the forum too (Props section, Gentle Giant, Sideshow/Hot Toys section), this way it is easy to find out for how much an item sold in a period of time.

Guys, please DO NOT edit the items you have already sold or that are for sale. This is actually a stated rule on the forum. If you upload an item for sale and sell or trade it, leave it and the asking price with the details within your post alone so it can be kept as a historical reference. Adding a "-SOLD" to the end of the price is fine. The only time a title should be edited is if you are adding the word "(SOLD)" to the end so it can be locked.

Rather than constantly editing one thread forever, feel free to start a thread, sell an item and then start a new thread for a new item.
