    Re: Marvel Universe

Thanks. I'm glad someone else started the thread here.

Really excited for the line. I really hope they decide to use the 4 figure wave as a Preview Wave and get them out for Christmas.
Perfect time to cater to the kiddies. And us rabid collectors of course.

By the way, the Red/Gold Classic Iron Man was also shown with two different heads during the panel presentation. The original flared V-mask and the later bolted mask. Hopefully they just include both in the package, and not make it a variant. Variants bad!

I noticed that, too. It's interesting though that there was no mention of chase variants and I can't see a one-off chase variant. So I guess there either will be or won't be, and we just need some clarification. I think this sounds like a question for the Marvel Q&A.

    Re: Marvel Universe

After having seen these, I have decided to totally skip the DC 3 & 3/4" line, which is too bad, because I was really excited to get both lines. I just can't do it though, they just don't hold a candle to these.

    Re: Marvel Universe

I'm sorry, I haven't actually heard of these yet. Are they an answer to Mattel's new 4" DC line? Basically, are these 4" figures?

And if so, do we know yet if they will be in scale with each other? For example, will the Hulk be just as tall as Human Torch or Punisher?

I was disappointed to see that the DC line had figures that looked like they were the same mold, just repainted or with some more detail. The Flash 3-pack comes to mind...
