The Destro Helmet/Mask is a prototype of the one that was solicited by Diamond Select Toys... it was never released due ot low orders.... I purchased it from the VP of Marketing of Diamond Select Toys after he left..... it is made of solid metal (steel).... very cool and very heavy!!

I just started seriously collecting superhero statues and busts within the last year, but I'm already pretty happy with my collection thus far. Since human Beast is my favorite comic book character, then that's what the overall focus of my collection is right now.

My two most recent acquisitions are the Bowen Designs Beast mini-busts, I managed to get both versions from a seller on eBay:

I was hoping that I wouldn't have to spend over $600 trying to track down both sets, but fortunately I found a guy who bought the sets just for the Jean Grey and Cyclops busts, so he was selling off the rest of them individually (he still had both Angel busts and one Iceman bust, last I checked).

They make nice bookends for my Beast display:

After decades of almost nothing related to this character, at least nothing that could be considered a high quality collectible, it's kind of cool to have so much new Beast merchandise popping up just within the last year or so.

I picked up the Original Marvel Girl statue a couple weeks ago, so this is my entire Bowen Designs statue collection as it stands right now:

I've got kind of a "Beauty and the Beasts" theme going on. :)

I'm getting ready to complete a deal to get my hands on the Classic Beast statue, the third and final variation of the character from Bowen. I paid a little bit more than I would have liked, but the production run on that statue was only 75 in the world, so it's just going to get harder and more expensive to acquire the longer I wait. Besides, it's my favorite Beast costume and I'm getting lucky number 7 out of 75. B) I'll post pictures as soon as it arrives.

Just got this guy in today to add to what is obviously turning into a Beast focus collection:

#7 of only 75 produced in the world! This statue is so limited that it's practically nonexistent:

Anyways, here he is with the rest of my Bowen Designs statues:
