A roadblock reached, but hope it does not last long.
I'm at the mercy of proprietary technology!!!

Hi, Tom.

Mike from SARLACC here. I found this very brief mention of converting .TOD files that may be of some use:

Also, I'd definitely be interested in being featured in your project, if you have any room for a Millennium Falcon fanatic with a collection of hundreds of Falcon and Han Solo items.

Hey gang!!! I have started researching the use of ADOBE AFTER EFFECT. Wow, what an amazing tool for video editing and special effects. Granted my film won't really need anything like this but I'm thinking of future ideas.
I recently acquired Adobe Master Suite http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif and I am forever grateful for getting it. I virtually have a complete studio in my hands...sound editing, video and special effects. I am a kid in a candy store! An actual script of ideas and scenes is being worked on now. I have big ideas for my collecting film. I am even considering going back to my home town back in the late 70's and doing some filming there. But I have done some location scouting locally that would pass for my earlier surroundings. This project might be a little overwhelming but it's more or less a movie for me. I have not seen anything like this on youtube or anything like that.

I don't want just another lame collecting video of me going around my house filming my collection. I want it to be a look into my personal history with scenes playing out like I remember them. A kind of funny quirky look back at 30 years of wasting my free time with some movies. I am really looking forward to sharing my addiction with you!
