I noticed that someone on here posted some pictures that had what appeared to be a Revoltech Optimus Prime. It seems that there's also a Revoltech Ultra Magnus and Revoltech Megatron out, but I couldn't find a thread on them. Anyone that has any of these, can you tell me if they're worth the $20-$50 they seem to go for on eBay?

I bought Megs for $25 and I'd say he's worth it. Picture them as Robot Replicas for G1. But with more extras - hands, heads, etc.

My Prime/Megs are the coolest figures to play with, that I have ever bought. I love Prime, but Megatron actually has better shoulder joints, which makes him even more articulated than Prime, and that's saying alot!!! I think this pic says it all...

Any pictures of Megatron? And isn't that Prime a bit out of scale with Stormshadow? http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

How articulated are they? I've never seen them before besides that picture above.

They are EXTREMLY articulated!!! Here's a qoute from Mark McBride's review over at tformers.com...

"Prime only contains 10 Revoltech joints whereas Megatron contains 12. There are now two more joints that Revoltech has added to Megtaron that can be found on his shoulders which adds for more points of articulation for his arms. I am really loving the way these things can be posed. Revoltech can do poses that not even Master Piece or Hybrid can do."

I can pose my Prime the same as Storm Shawdow, which says alot for a Transformer. I'm telling you, if you have a chance to pick these up, do it. They are two of my favorite TF's I own, and I do love me some "transforming". http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Just goes to show Prime doesn't have to be thirty foot tall to kick a ninja's behind. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I noticed that BBTS had a line of Mega PVC Transformers that, according to the box, are 'super posable'. Does anyone know anything about them or how they compare to the Revoltech line in terms of posability and aesthetics?

The Mega PVC's have no where near the articulation of the Revoltech, but they look sweet, I picked up Hot Rod and Starscream and they rock on display!!!

How much articulation do they have?

I think www.bbts.com (http://www.bbts.com) still has some available for like $29.99.

I just got the Megatron Revoltech as a Christmas present. I have to say this is the Transformer I've always dreamed of playing with. Sure he can't turn into a pistol, but he sure as heck looks like he just stepped out of the cartoon. I've now got Starscream on Pre-order and thinking of picking up Prime and Rodimus. I understand I've missed the boat on Ultra Magnus, but they've just got to make a movie version of GALVATRON.

With that, I'll never ask for another Transformers toy again.

Well, except for maybe a Shockwave or Soundwave.

I have Megs as well and love him. He's so close to being a good match for the Prime that came in that Prime Vs. Tank Megatron 2-pack, but not quite the right scale.

Shame, since I really don't like the styling on the Revoltech Prime.

I don't care much for the Cab windows for Prime's chest, but i will definately be picking him up. I just grabbed a revoltech Megatron, and I can't wait for him to arrive.

Megs is one of my favorite toys... the extra joint in his shoulders goes a long way. I remember as kid wanting my TF's to have more articulation, especially with my JOES having so much. These revoltechs are great in that regard, now I can't wait for Starscream and Hot Rod!!!

I was just looking at these the other day and I gotta have them. I'll be getting Optimus, Megatron, Starscream (my favorite) and maybe Hot Rod. These things just look amazing. I'm hoping they do a Soundwave soon.

as far as I can see, they are almost like articulated 5 inch Transformer action figures....right? The poses I have seen some of them in are incredible. I love em. I too am going to get Prime, Megs, Hot Rod and Starscream. They also have Skyfire, but he is a generic kind. Same body, gun and armor though.

He's under the Macross/Valk category. He's not actually sold under the Transformer name.

Great toys. I have all the releases including Ultra Magnus. Can't wait for Starscream and Hotrod to be released!

My Megatron came in the mail today. I didn't realize how small these were. The images on the web make them look pretty big. Plus, the price makes it seem like they'd be bigger. I may or may not get Prime. For the price, size, and the fact that I don't really like how they designed his chest to look like the Dreamwave Prime from the first miniseries they did, I don't know about him. I'm still tempted to get Starscream and Hot Rod, though.

I just wish these were bigger for the price and lack of transformation.
