View Full Version : Stolen Artwork

Hey guys. I'm going to try my best at getting the word out on the stolen Randy Martinez painting, 'The Grand Finale.'
I've posted on a couple of sites, that have Star Wars fans who look at every available SW item on ebay every day. And put the word out within my little sewing circle of artists.
I can't believe that a customs agency could be so obviously dirty. I hope the poor fellow has reported them to the German authorities.
Anyway, I can't find the image for the painting anywhere, but I'm going to need it to get a 'neighborhood watch' of sorts together.
Can someone post the image here. Thanks

Here you go:

Hope the art piece is found. Customs: you'll never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy!

Great! Thanks Jorbex! If it goes up online, we'll find it. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Pardon my language but I hope that rat [censored] gets caught and strung up by his cajones (or some other part if it was a female!)
Maybe they can test out that LEDI on the person?

This was posted over in the Adam Hughes yahoo group….

A member of the yahoo group purchased a bunch of the ‘slave leia’ posters created by Hughes for his fellow members. He mailed them from the C4 post office. When the package arrived, some of the posters had been removed and resealed. So you can’t trust the people at the Celebration post office either.

Adam Hughes heard of the theft and replaced the posters with ‘Artist Proofs’. The proofs are the same as the original poster except they do not have an edition number. That was great that Adam Hughes came to the rescue for his fans.

Like I said, you'll never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy! That was awfully nice of Adam, replacing those prints. This is the reason why my Slave Leia print travelled safely on my shoulder for the whole trip home. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/cool.gif
