Howdy everyone, here's a place where you can discuss the current episode, plus get some info from us.

Here's a picture of the tattoo that was mentioned in this weeks podcast.

Oh my god thats the tat I'm getting. I bought a copy of The Force in the Flesh for a mates girlfriend who is a tattoo artist and she said she'd do a free tat for me, I'll make sure it's right way round. I hope you can come up with a solution to getting it fixed.

I'm going to venture a guess that the photo was self-taken in a mirror.
Any SW fan worth their lightsaber would make sure everything was facing the right direction http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Sadly enough, that's the way the tatoo is sitting on his skin http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/frown.gif
I really feel for that guy!

The name of the play that Ian McDiarmid was in that you guys mention on this episode is "The Faith Healer"

He signed a few SW photos thru the mail from the theater for people before word got out and then he stopped signing SW photos through the mail. People were still getting playbills and other photos back signed but only a lucky few got their SW pics signed.

Good to have you back Jason, glad to hear everything turned out OK!!!

Just finishing up listening to this weeks show and want to say a BIG THANK YOU to Jason for the nice words about the film! It feels so good to hear an outside opinion on the completed product after so many months of hard work!! I hope everybody who sees the film enjoys it just as much as Jason did!

My ears were ringing...was someone talking about me? lol

First off, I'm sorry to see that happened. I've seen tattoos get put on backwards many times. I myself have one that is upside-down...after superbowl party + Captain Morgan's + 7 bored tattoo artists = 1 upside-down tattoo. Actually, the 6 other guys that went after I did felt bad and got theirs upside-down also..lol.

Well, it's solid black and I agree with what you said about Shane T's advice...Best bet is to add more around it and fill up the outside of the arm.

The tattoo itself isn't bad and honestly the person that got it has the final say after the stencil gets put on. In my shop after the stencil is applied, we always insist that people go to the mirror and make sure. I've made clients look at it more than once! Unfortunately this one slipped by the artist...who should have double checked, imo.

But as you guys said, the only people that are really going to notice are him and the hardcore fans.

Does anyone know where this guy is located? I might know some artists around his area. I'm not a huge fan of that 'tribal' look but he could always add more of the solid black and maybe some shadowing in gray or color in the open spaces to give it more of a 3-D look.

I hope some of that helps, I know Shane's friend Luis is also an artist and posts here, he might be able to add some more insight.

I'll try and get a good pic of my upside-down tattoo and post it here so that guy knows he's not alone, lol!

Oh by the way, I'm on vacation right now in Key West and can't wait to get home and await my copy of The Force Among Us! I've really been looking forward to this!

I'm sure you've already received an e-mail about this but I thought I'd just post it here anyway. In this weeks force-cast you talked about Nym who is Feeorin (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Feeorin) and someone thought Kit Fisto was the same species, where he is in fact Nautolan (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Nautolan), witch looks similar.

Hey guys, thanks for the shout-out! That Kessel Run show still makes me bust out laughing. Jimmy Mac's commentary is hysterical! "Everyone knows that second place is FIRST PLACE LOSER!"
Here is that picture if you all want to see it. Go back and listen to that episode.
Good times.

Yup, thanks. I made sure to clarify this after we got off the air by use of an email.

It's amazing how much info "goes away" when you're recording http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hi,

So we jawas don't know anything about tattoos. But we do know about scavanging! If we had to scavange something better out of this tattoo we'd probably go with panel #2. Just call this your own unique symbol (which, personally, looks pretty cool). Remember, a Jedi must follow the flow of the Force so if this is the symbol you have been led to, embrace it! This new symbol certainly was inspired by the Jedi Knight logo but is now something original. If you insist on putting English letters in what is clearly a fantastic sword hilt then you can try to make up something like "Killer Knight" or "Knoble Kitten" or "Kool Kimono" or "Knitting Karibo" or "Kimodo Kibuki" or "Kool-aid Kid" or whatever.

But if after giving panel #2 a try for a while you find you're still commited to the true Jedi Knight logo, you could then go on to pursue panel #3. Either using existing laser techniques or waiting for the future to develop better tat removal. And, of course, you may need to go on to panel #4 after that, depending on how the removal goes. Of course, use whatever symbol you prefer, the rebel symbol just fits nicely.

Warning Disclaimer: If spot laser removal and tattooing over a laser scar aren't viable solutions, well, jawas don't know anything about tattoos. (Just wrap yourself in black bandages and wear a hood.)

Or you could just leave it as it is and say you're a Jedi Knight from Star Trek's "Mirror-Mirror" universe. (Well, you can say that to Jason, but don't tell Pete.)
