You took the time to start a thread about it, but not actually open it?
Weirdo. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

ok well a couple of things first.
First off, this statue blows away anything I have ever owned - including some of my past favorites such as the GG rancor. It even looks better than any of the pics at mintinbox. Seeing this in person looks WAY better. I am happier than I thought I would be. Im drooling.
I decided to display her with the rope draping instead of taught like in the promo pics. when I opened up the rope I about paniced. the rope stuck together. It was soft and apparently got hot in the box. I finally separated the rope. The only problem I had after that is that the rope is too thick to slip under her curved finger. I tried several things - minimal force but stopped as I didnt want to snap a finger off. I used plyers to "smoosh" the rope while it was warm to then try and slip it in. No luck. All it did was leave slight plyer ridges which have since almost vanished. So I just draped it over her thumb and back finger. Still looks good. Here are 5 pics that I like the best. I must have taken about 50 lol http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hope you enjoy my own personal OOLA.

congrats on your first attakus piece. i've always said attakus makes the finest statues.

now just make sure you dont sell her in a couple of weeks http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif

well the problem in the past was i felt i had to be a completist - character keys, busts, statues etc.

With her I do not. Although Id love a few more attakus pieces, she is the only one I need.
I don't really plan on getting that many other statue pieces. Maybe a few key characte accent pieces or something.
I just had to have my favorite character. Im content with just owning her. It's pretty sad when you get this gushy little butterfly feeling when stareing at her. She is so incredible.
Absolutely NO disappointment in her whatsoever.
I would like an oola mini bust but doubt GG will make her.
She is gonna look great displayed in acrylic on a pedestal under the framed autograph.
she is by far the best piece I have ever owned. 150% satisfied!!
Thank you ATTAKUS.

Wow! What a display. The statue looks great. I am a huge Oola fan as well. Her and Sy snootles from the OT are my two favorite characters from when I was a kid. It's a pricey peice so that's the only thing holding me back. Also debating the GG Jabba statue, only interested because Oola is on it, but I am not impressed with the Jabba. Are you planning to get thatas well? Also, how much did you get the Attakus statue for? Think we will get a new Hasbro Oola next year. Was bummed she was dropped from the rumor list for this year. I do like the POTF one as it holds up to todays standards minus the limited articulation and height. This is my very first post, sorry if it's too wordy! http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I received the oola for $267 plus shipping. I think I paid $288 total. Not bad in my opinion.
Im not sure why I like oola so much. something about her. Right now I have no plans for the GG jabba statue as I just want the oola.
I also like bib as well and have thought about getting the bib attakus and the masterpix photo like im doing with oola.
They could look great side by side.
I guess I have a thing for twi'leks

nice to see another oola fan. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

That's an awesome price. Through what source did you purchase her? I could rationalize buying her if she is under $300! There's just something so cool about her look. The Bib statue looks very cool as well. Better than the GG one coming out in my opinion.
