View Full Version : Ilum Padme- Neutral pose and "No" softgoods!

Well, she's almost 100% plastic. I did use the fuzzy trim from the current battlepack one. Here's the recipe:

Ilum Padme- arms and torso; head and boots with sculpey.
Droid Factory Padme- legs and belt
Early Bird Leia- modified parts from hood and gown.

Great job here. I love the mix of parts and just the overall idea of a non pre-posed figure by Hasblow (boo! http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/mad.gif).

This looks good--looks like an official figure. Well, considering some of the "official" figures, this surpasses it. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Nice work. The modifications to the body are fantastic...she just needs to get rid of that man-head. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif That's Hasbro's fault though...not yours...

Nice work as always !!!

This figure looks good. You did an admirable job of matching the assorted parts. The design of the torso limits what can be done with this figure without a re-sculpt. IMO, Your Ilum Padme looks better than the cobbled together Arena Padme that Hasbro put out recently.

Thanks for the compliments guys! Sometimes a figure comes along that I feel overwhelmingly compelled to improve.

Well done, dude.

I think it's a pretty good improvement on the Ilum Padme, but I really wasn't that unhappy with the pre-pose of the original version. At least it was TV show accurate in the posing.

The man-head, yes it STILL needs to go. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Fine work, MK17, keep it up!

I think this is one of my favorite customs I've ever seen on this board... which is several years! Great assembly and modifications, if this was released as a basic figure, I'd get several.

That's awesome!! Surely one of your best.

Nice work on modifying Padme - the legs look especially great - I may do a similar leg swap when I get the chance. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Thanks for the continuing compliments everyone.

Yes she look realy good. If you want to change the head I would go fore arena ore pilot Padme. I think they are the best Padme-skulps.
