I bought this 1/6 scale snowtrooper yesterday at a comic book show. He needed some adjustments. They are as follows: I put elastic on everthing that was stitched to the fabric (knee pads, chest plate etc.). I also cut down the cloth on the helmet, swapped hands with a pair of VOTC 12 inch stormie hands, white washed all of the armor and put a light clear coat on and lastly did a wash on the fabric to darken the color a little. LEt me know what you all think. Thanks, Ryan

Commander Gree. This is about 95% complete. Just need to add the leg piece and do a couple of paint touch ups.

Looks great... miles above the original Hasbro version - but I have a quick question: how do you give the fabric a wash? The same as you would any other hard surface? Or do you have to use different paints, or a special technique?

tk; thanks, i am glad you like him!

jokabofe; basically, all i did for the wash was fill a bowl or cup up with enough water to submerge the entire piece of material. i then added some paint to the water and just mixed it around. then just put the material into the colored water and soak the material until it comes out with the disired color you want. i am sure that there are other/ better techniques but this is the one that i have been using.

Nice one. I like how he went from brown to the cleaner white. Ive got this guy on a new body but the boots are what i dislike most about the snowtrooper. If a can get a spare scout trooper im going to but those boots onto mine.

thanks Ian. I agree, the boots are way too bulky. I think I remember seeing some WWII Dragon snow boots on ebay a while back that would have gone good with this figure. I plan on changing them at some point. thanks, RYan
