The boxes said they're for the 40 years of Star Trek.
I know that they're not Star Wars, but don't you think they
look pretty good, especially the Enterprise from the next
generation? After seeing these ships, i truely believe that
Corgi could make some really good quality Star Wars ships! http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I have the TOS Enterprise (Far Right picture).

http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif These are amazing die-casts. The TOS Enterprise looks beautiful.

They are gonna make a Defiant and a Voyager as well, from what I've heard over at the TrekUnitedForums.

http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif I love Star Trek and Star Wars equally!

I receive the Star Trek newsletter on email and the ships were presented there too. They look really cool indeed!

I have some of the Corgi Batman 1/43 scale vehicles. They do make a good quality diecast.

Cool looking ships. How big are they and how much were they?

The Corgi website has the Enterprise D(the next generation)
at $40 dollars, Enterprise(original) at $34 dollars, and the
Klingon bird of prey(search for Spock) at $30 dollars. I'm
not sure of the sizes of these ships, but the Enterprise D
is the larger of the 3, and the best of this trio in my
opinion. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I have the original Enterprise as well as the Klingon ship. They are very nice for what they're worth. The Klingon is especially well detailed.

The Corgis look pretty good. Guess I'll have to see them "in person" to decide if I'll get into collecting these. Between: MM, Gashapons (Furuta/Romando), Innerspace/StrikeForce, Hallmark Keepsakes, and Art Asylum, I probably have too many Star Trek toys already as it is. ST is only a secondary interest for me, and the costs seem quite hi. So, I'll probably be just a spectator. But they're nice to look at though, like all Corgis.

Johnny Lightning is making a new series of die cast Star Trek vehicles, they look pretty good.

I saw the listing for series 4 of the Johnny Lightning and wasn't too pleased - too many repaints and retools - too many unique vehicles that haven't been done yet.
