Oh, thats really embarrassing. Maybe someone can tell me why I can't add images from my gallerie?

You just put in the wrong link. Click on "Photopost" in the white banner above, then look at your gallery and click on the picture you uploaded to post. Now scroll down near the bottom of the page and click the button that says "Copy to Clipboard". This is your link, edit your first post and include this link (Control V works good for pasting).

I did the same thing the first time I posted a pic, but that's what "preview your post" is for.

Good luck!

The best way to post a photo from photopost is to just hit the "Photo" link in the Instand UBB Code window below the editing window. That pops up your personal gallery and links a thumbnail automatically.

thank you all very much for your help and your compliments.
I tried all your suggestions, but it didn't work.
I will change my browser and will have some practising lessons in the test area.

Hi,

for all of you who are interested in the making of:

The presentation is located in my bedroom. The bed is on the other side of the room facing the diorama.
It is a wood construction with aluminium sliding-doors (wardrobe) and two big acrylic glass sliding sheets. On the right side, behind the black glass sliding door, I can reach all my technical homecinema stuff. My homecinema is located in the living room which is the room behind the dioramawall.
The backlights are composed of two neon lamps, which have been mounted to the wall. In front of them there is a milk-acrylic glass (whole length: around 13 ft.).
Now I'm able to put different pictures, foil-plots, or some foam-modelling in front of the glass. I experiment with different backlight effects. I also can switch the backlight off, seperatley from the colour LED-light.
In the future I would like to test a big diapositive from the death-star.
Four LED-tubes which are mounted behind the upper front plates take care of the coloured lights. When I'm in bed I'm able to change the effects via radio control. Normaly there is a neutral warm light.

To save space for the different statues I built some custom baseconstructions, that way Im able to arrange the characters closer together which look more realistic to me.

The planning took several months while I stared at my boring white wall before I fall asleep.
Constructing, building and painting took about 2-3 weeks. But I was just able to work in the evenings or on weekends. The most expensive elements are the illumination and the big acrylic glass plates (except the statues).

Thanks for watching. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Well Im slowly getting all the pieces I need for my Jabba's palace scene.

I snapped this pic of the pieces I have so far.

Just need Salacious with hookah pipe, han carbonite, and jabba. C-3PO is will be arriving soon.

I plan to display all 9 pieces under on acrylic case. Talk about a big case im gonna need http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

anyway, here is a pic of the ones i have so far.
This is NOT how they will be displayed http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

great start! That's gotta cost you a lotta bux!

TimProctor
11-08-2008, 01:03 PM
Thanks

It didnt really cost much. I got bib and oola for around $250 each- i think.

The gamorrean was part of an art trade so i didn pay any cash for him.

The jawa was a B-day gift from my mom.

Leia was only $95 plus shipping. so it has not cost much so far.

jabba on the other hand will be a different story. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif
