I havent been there in a long time, but there used to be a comic shop in georgetown as well as a FAO Schwartz in Georgetown mall.

You can take M street straight into G-town. ( a few blocks south of Dupont Circle) Its a long walk, but a 5 minute cab ride and the metro goes there too.

Beyond Comics 3060 M Street, NW Phone: (202) 333-8650

F.A.O. Schwartz 3222 M Street, Georgetown Park Mall, #310 Phone: (202) 965-7000

Big Planet Comics - 3145 Dumbarton St NW, Washington, 20007 - (202) 342-1961

Fantom Comics - 4500 Wisconsin Avenue, NW, Washington, 20016 - (202) 362-5051

Bonjour redlord!

How long are you in DC for? I work in Springfield VA, it's on the Blue Line of the Metro just outside of the City...looking for anything in particular? There is a Toys R Us, Target and WalMart right by me, I usually check the stores on my lunch break, I can see if it's worth your time to take the metro this way...also I checked online there are no WalMarts/Targets in DC http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I will be there for a week, so I can use the Metro Line.

Is the mall far away from the metro station?

I have check but it seems that all the fao schwartz shops has disapeared except NY and Vegas.
