Hey everyone, as a newer collector of Sideshow and one who has some cash burning a hole in his pocket, where do you go for your SST items? Sideshow Direct is the obvious but what other online e-tailers do you recommend?

Thanks. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Well, if you want to have some fun and get out of the house some comic stores carry sideshow figures. If you want more selection there are several other online retailers.

darkshadowcollectibles.com has some good stuff, I got an Obi-Wan from them a while ago for like $50 and it shipped really quick, and sometimes they've had really good prices, like a Grievous PF a while ago for $300.

http://www.razorsedgecollectibles.com is a good one also, I'm sure there are more but those are the ones that come to my mind right now.

here's one Northside collectibles (http://www.nsidecollectibles.com/index.php?main_page=index). I've never dealt with them though. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Aside from buying online, people really should talk to there local comic/collectible store. I find I get great deals from my local comic shop on new SS releases, way cheaper than buying direct and no shipping fees involved. My suggestion is to go to your local comic shop and see what they have in stock or are planning on brining in.

The problem I have is that most all of the local comic stores closed up. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/frown.gif A while ago I found one about 30 minutes away that had the Qui-Gon in stock (which I picked up from him http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif ), but he wasn't sure if he'd be ordering SS figs in the future.

My issue is that as well as not being a lot of Comic shops in my area, the ones that are here have collectors working for them too so the figures never dip below MSRP or are asking for more especially exclusive things...

Make requests and show them that your interesting in buying and I am sure he will bring a few of each release in.

Try and work out some sort of deal, I would hope they would reward repeat costumers by giving them a small break of sorts.

I cancelled my Exclusive PF Boba Fett that I had on order with Sideshow to save some $$$ and order it through Northside.
I really don't need the exclusive Madalorian tea kettle coaster.
