Does anyone know a company that is selling or going to sell the Attakus Falcon/Death Star Diorama in the US? I heard the Star Wars Shop is going to sell it, but does anyone know when?

Until today I haven't heard anything about it. I also heard the rumor about SWS.com but so far no news have surfaced.

Say, why is it that Rebelscum is linking to a site with pornographic content? I thought this was a family site. maybe I should report this http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I don't consider Attakus a porno site, if the statue bothers you why create a link to it? http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/confused.gif http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Yes, rather than call attention to things and thus giving them publicity, if you ignore things you don't like, they will likely go away. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I also wonder why you bothered to create a link to it. Trying to help out that segment of the population who like statues of pole dancers? http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/confused.gif

To answer the original on-topic conern:

Front page just announced that this piece is going to be sold through the Attakus-America site on November 15.

The diorama is cool, but the figures look like total ****

Entertainment Earth is selling them:

http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=ACD104

Also included with the set are certificates that you can mail in for free figurines of Luke Skywalker in a Sandtrooper outfit, and a Mouse Droid.

They also have the figures and the two Diorama parts for sale separately.

Its called Art. And maybe some people should try parenting. Attakus are collectibles that kids couldn't even afford. Your crazy.

Are they charging shipping on the big boys? I know some e-tailers are offering it free which brings the price down a bit on a 6 foot piece!

I could go for the Death Star but I think the Falcon is too huge and heavy for my basement. I just need to add up all that I want with it and see if I can afford (price and space wise) this.

They dioramas look great---but way too much $$ for me at this point. I have all my $$ tied up in the MR SE Falcon, so I have to pass.

These are the first items by Attakus I've actually been impressed with, but the price is waaay out of my range. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I was excited when I saw the stormtroopers...until I saw the size. $100 for a 4" metal stormie?? Hasbro's getting $15 for their Titanium 3.75" figures. Yeah, they're not limited or as detailed (although old Obi looks bad) but still. And for $100 you can get Medicom stormies from Hong Kong, and for less than that we should have Sideshow troopers soon.

Am I missing something?

Not really. Attakus stuff is just way overpriced. Even the stormtroopers look like total barf. It'd take a lot of convincing to get $10 each from me for em.

I suppose if you can drop over 3 grand on this that the $100 figures won't make you blink. If I won the lotto or something and could afford this, I think I'd still display my hasbro figures on it. Maybe that's a faux pas but I'd rather be able to change things up a little and the scale is pretty close, close enough that I don't think most people would notice.

Yeap, this line is not for everybody and it is a lot of mulha that is why is so limited. Anyway I have seen people paying similar or even larger quantities of money for worst things.

Oh okay, I also saw it at razors with free shipping but it was $3000 as well for the two.

Look at it this way, throw a certain Hasbro fig in there and Luke really could be "a little short for a Stormtrooper." http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif
