Glad to see the podcast back and I think (with all deference to Erik, who was a great host on the previous season), that Jason and Pete have a great chemistry and am looking forward to many more episodes.

This is a very cool feature both from RS.com and TFN.com. Been hearing the new incarnation of the Podcasts with great interest.

Hey Jason,

I was wondering if you might share what your favorite item is in your Star Wars collection. I know it's hard to choose, but everyone usually has one piece that is their all time favorite. Just curious.

I also forgot to mention to you that I pre-ordered the Animated Clone Wars Boba Fett Maquette Statue. It looks awesome, and since Boba is my all time favorite character I am twice as stoked to receive it.

My new goal is to collect all of the Gentle Giant maquettes modeled after the Clone Wars cartoon. My mouse clicking finger is feeling itchy so the Darth Vader maquette might be in my shopping cart on EE before the day is over. They're supposed to ship by November and the wait is killing me.

Ouch. That is a tough question... and the answer changes frequently. I guess if I had to pick a fave right now, it would be my Episode III styled Obi-Wan 12" figure from Sideshow. The Sideshow 12" line keeps getting better and better. I'm more of a "toy" collector than high-end collector, but these are a great middle-ground. Plus, my two favorite characters in the Saga (don't make me choose between them) are Obi and Yoda. As soon as Sideshow puts out an Alec Guiness style 12" - you can bet my answer will change. C'mon Sideshow let's have it!

Jason, you're ma man! http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I'm a great Yoda fan, too (still only own 70 different Yodas, in several types and flavors, though http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/frown.gif).

Just a bit of collecting info I wanted to pass along to Jason, Pete, and the rest of the forum visitors. Not sure if you guys have been checking these boards of late, but I just received another of the Clone Wars animated maquettes from Gentle Giant. My wife gave me the Darth Vader Maquette for Christmas, and my mom picked up the Leia with Artoo maquette for my birthday this month.

I received the Vader, and he is really cool! The cape is the distinguishing feature on the figure for sure. I haven't received Leia & Artoo from EE yet, but it should be arriving this week. While not a central part of my collection, I really have fallen in love with this line, and the way they look. They display great, and add a little edginess to my collection due to the animated look. They stand out as a result and really take on a quality all their own.

I know Jason is a completest when he starts a line, and usually doesn't jump in late, but this line doesn't have a ton of figures yet, and is really awesome in it's design. If I'm not mistaken there are only about 6 or 7 as of right now. So far I've obtained the Boba Fett, Vader, & Leia. Next on my list is the animated Stormtrooper, and the newly released pre-order Yoda on Kybuck maquette.

Just wanted to give anyone who was curious about the animated maquettes a firsthand perspective in case you were thinking of adding some,(or all Jason...lol!) to your collection. Later everybody.

P.S. I realize this would fit in the collecting forums, but since the Force-Cast has a collecting segment I thought it might be cool for us loyal listeners to have some inside chats regarding our own personal likes and dislikes. Maybe we could start a Force-Cast collecting thread for listeners to provide feedback for items talked about during the shows? What do you think? Dustin I'm sure you can add some interesting thoughts on this idea. Would be interested to hear what you think. Thanks guys.

It scares me how addictive it is, not long until Friday then my week will be complete! http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif

"Apology accepted, Captain Needa." http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

When I hear that tune I feel all tingly and happy but thats probably just me, must be a result of the Phantom Menace trailer, I was so excited back in 1999 after seeing that trailer, good times.lol http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yes, I too love the last cue on the Empire soundtrack - and miss it to some extent, but I think the new intro says "let's party!" and that is what 2007 is all about. I know Pete and I can't wait to get to know you all better at C4 as well as through this forum. Keep listening, talking, commenting and above all - loving Star Wars.

Hey guys!

I've been listening to the ForceCast for the last few months now and I'm hooked along with my 7 year old. We listen to the show when I'm cooking dinner and he laughs everytime a really bad impression occurs..it's hilarious.

You guys saved my plane trip a couple of weeks ago, I had a bunch of Force-Casts saved up on my ipod and got caught up on some episodes I missed!

Keep up the great work..I'm new to the boards here and look forward to lots of great Star Wars discussion.

One more question..will there be a Force-Cast meet and greet at C4? My family and I plan on attending and would love to stop by and say hi. Thanks Jason and Pete!

Jay, Pete, can you find out what is going on with the "NEW" Hyperspace for current peeps? do us old members get the standard privleges or do we convert to what they are offering now. Apparently Hyperspace changed dramatically and maybe things can get clarified. AND..... as the heads of The Force Cast id think that you 2 would know who to talk to and find out all the details of this change to help us all who are members and are possible future members.

Many Thanks

I root for anyone versus my ex-employer, the Atlanta Braves. Any organization who can't see the potential from a guy who hits .310 in A ball doesn't deserve my support.

It took me 3 seasons of A ball before I hit .310, but that's another story. Now that I think of it, do you suppose that had anything to do with their decision? http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

First post here... All these years and I didn't even know there was a forum here (I assumed all the action was at TFN - where I unfortunately get banned from time to time, what with my shenanigans and goings-ons)!

The First Anniversary was the first 'Forcecast' episode I heard - then I started listening to the back-episodes. What a difference a year can make! It's almost comical to hear the contrast - the reading of the stories was so 'straight'. It's so much looser now, and the post-audio (musical intro's, etc) are SO much better these days (Maxi-Big Da Force)!

Anyways, love the show! It's actually scary how much Pete sounds like this guy I used to do a college radio show here in Canada with.

So Pete, you have an 'audio twin' up here!
Cheers

So bummed I couldn't make it to C4. I wish I was hanging out here throughout the summer. The post-ROTS depression hit around April of 2007. I was able to hold on for about 2 years. I'm sure the forums will help pull me out of these dark times. On a side note, anyone pushing for C5 to be in Indianapolis?

Just listened to the Battlefront: Renegade Squadron Force Cast. At the beginning Jimmy said, "In conjunction with Lucasfilm." Did they call you to set this up? Are we seeing more inside connections with the Force Cast crew? Very good job either way.

I was wondering the same thing. Either way, I wanna know how we win one of these bad boys. I'm a HUGE fan of the Battlefront series and will be getting this and the Vader PSP whether my bank account wants me to or not. I'm totally biased and really only play video games for SW, but IMO it doesn't get any more fun than BF.

This is my first time posting about the Force Cast.

I am a big fan of the show. I usually download and listen.

The show is always informative and entertaining.

I also really enjoy the Mircocasts especially the ones with the Billy Dee Williams, Anthony Daniels, and the 2 part In The Cantina with Dan Madsen.

Keep up the great work!!

Maybe I will be able to do the Talkshoe thing sometime.

I hear you guys mention it but got to sign up and to figure out how it works.

Thanks again for the all the great Forcecasts.

Chris

First time posting in a forum. I have been enjoying the Force-Cast since I started listening. About a month ago I started listening live and participating in the chat. So I thought I would give the forum a try.

Love the show, problem is now that I have been in the chat I lose track of the show. It does give me a reason to listen on fridays. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Can't wait for the next show.

There isn't a complete list, but I'm sure we could start one. I'll start by naming some of the songs on GoM 15...

-What Can You Get a Wookiee For Christmas? (When He Already Owns a Comb)
-Chewbaccca singing Silent Night
-R2-D2 We Wish You a Merry Christmas
-Christmas in the Stars
-Christmas Tauntauns
-Walkers in a Winter Wonderland
