I'm just glad the seller decided to be so specific (http://cgi.ebay.com/Star-Wars-Something-for-someone_W0QQitemZ160033364545QQihZ006QQcategoryZ50 272QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I believe that's probably a deal that was arranged off 'bay, but either the seller or buyer wanted the "protection" of eBay.

It looks weird to somebody who doesn't know, but really isn't that unusual IMHO.

If so (and I think you're right), would have been hilarious if someone took a flier and jumped the auction in advance of the intended buyer. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Of course then the seller just has to find the crappiest looking vintage he can find (hammerhead missing the head) and send it. After all, he didn't say what it was other than vintage star wars.
