What do you want to see at Celebration Europe? Got any celebrities you want to meet? What about talks and presentations? Are appearances from the various license holders important to you?

Share your thoughts and hope they take notice!

However strange it may seem, one of the first on my list has already been confirmed: none other than Mr. Steve Sansweet.

The other I'd love to see is the small guy who's been playing Yoda on all films.

Wait! That was a puppeteer... http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Seriously, I'd like to also meet the guy who gave his genes to every Clone I enjoy collecting from the PT, Mr. Temuera Morrison. I've always wanted to meet a Mando'ad...

The other one is that excelent, über-Star Wars actor that gave life on screen to the Emperor everyone loves to hate, Mr. Ian McDiarmid.

Being a UKer, I am sure A. Daniels will show up there

Same reason why I'm betting on Ian. Hope he finds the time to attend.

Not that I'm too fond of the "Empiror", but I do like the actor. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I would like Ian to turn up but i doubt he'll agree to go.

I think the regs may show up, Kenny Baker, Jeremy Bulloch and Dave Prowse

Don't forget this is going to be a big one, in European terms. I'm hoping more actors will turn up other than the "regular".

I didnt mean we will just get the regs, of course not then it would be no less than a LFCC.

Im sure the regs will be there but i cant see Ian doing it......i mean i'd love for him to be there dont get me wrong i just dont want to get my hopes up on this one.

I agree, I don't think Ian McD will be there. The A-listers won't be there http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/frown.gif

You think? Even considering Steve Sansweet's intervention in this event? OK, homework for you, when you pay him a visit, this year:

Convince Steve to have some "A-listers" [as you call them] to attend at Convention-Europe 2k7

It's because they are busy with their careers. The only time the big guns roll out is when they are promoting a new movie. Such as SDCC 2004 when Mark Hamill was there for Comic Book The Movie, Nat Portman pushed V For Vendetta in 2005 and Sam Jackson was promoting his new movie this year.

OK, so no A-listers. I'll take the B-listers, then... http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

My guess the current con-regulars will be there. Amy Allen, Matt Wood, Mayhew, Prowse,...maybe Parks too.

Oh Amy, Amy... http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/crazy.gif (she breaks my heart ya know?)

To me all these are and always will be A-listers. My younger boy will be especially pleased to know the guy who gave Grievous his voice (should he really be a 'confirmed' presence).

EDIT: Wait! you mean con,as in perpetrators? Are these guys gonna get arrested? http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I think Mark Hamill is a posiblilty... but im not holding out on it.

People like Ian McD, Portman, samuel Jackson, Mcgregor and ....Ford are out (i know the last 2 were really never in the frame in the first place)

Ray Park
Carrie Fisher
Peter Mayhew
Dave Prowse
Amy Allen
Matt Wood
Jeremy Bulloch
Anthony Daniels
Kenny Baker
Christopher Lee ( showmasters got him to do one at LFCC, yes he pulled out but he said he wanted to come back and do one in london)

They are some i think are posible, some more than others, but i wouldnt be suprised if they came.

EDIT: i may have missed a few people out though...

Being a regular visitor to the Collectormania shows at Milton Keynes and Memorabilia shows at the NEC Birmingham i have already met many of the movie stars from the 6 Star Wars films. There are so many to choose from but i will agree with previous forum entries that Ian McDiarmid would be good and also Caroline Blakiston (Mon Mothma). Also Julian Glover who played General Veers or maybe even Shannon Baksa who posed as Mara Jade in Deciphers CCG Expanded Universe card.

I don't think we'll see Ian McPalpatine this time around, but I hope I'm wrong.

Veers-y would be good to see. Julian Glover played one of the few competant Imperials, and he was in For Your Eyes Only too.

Have there been any indications as to what else there might be apart from appearances/signings? As fun as it must be to stand in a line for hours on end I'm hoping there are other activities, but am a bit clueless about the usual Celebration events.
Maybe a video games bit with a big SWBF2 war?

Why not being some of the A-Listers out of the closet. It is the 30th Anniversary year and bearing in mind that the originals were mostly shot here in the UK. Why wouldn't any of the big names come along ?

Why not some of the British actors who have made very few appearances at events, or the likes of Hamill !!

that's what I'm hoping for is more of the British actors. It'd be great if they could get some of the big names that don't do alot of these (like Ian McDiarmid)

I'm assuming there will be a CE store. What I wanna know is, will it be 24 hours like the one at CIV? I'll probably have limited time at CE and don't want to waste 6.5 hours waiting in the store like I did at CIII.

if it's anything like CIII, it'll be lots of lines and not just for autographs. For the autos, the big lines were for the bigger actors, the background characters didn't have lines at all for the most part and all the ones I talked with were enjoyable to talk too and seemed to be enjoying themselves.

At CIII, there were various panels/presentations - focusing on different aspects of collecting, Q&As with cast & crew; as well as shows - SW in 30 minutes (hilarious), One-man SW (hilarious), and SW the Musical (I didn't get to see this); the archive room had lots of models and costumes used in the films; the R2 builder's room had lots of homemade R2's; the exhibit hall had tons of stuff for sale; the art room had various SW artists each selling their own CIII print.

That's what was at CIII, I don't know what will be at CE or CIV (I don't know if CE will have the same stuff as CIV). Just to give you an idea of what goes on. You can also check out RSs' CIII archive (http://threads.rebelscum.com/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=c3) and CII archive (http://threads.rebelscum.com/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=c3) for more info.

I'm betting you're wrong. He's one of my favorite actors in the whole saga. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I reckon Carrie Fisher and Billy Dee Williams will definately be there. Mark Hamill os a possibilty now i reckon with the rumour of him going to C4

Ian McDiarmid will never happen as he doesn't like signing autographs let alone public events. I'd like to be proved wrong

Christopher Lee i reckon will be there i reckon with his £40 price tag (that's $78 in US)as that what he wanted when he was going to appear at an event here

He doesn't do personalised, character name or photos though
