I just wanted to make fellow RS Vintage members aware of some very interesting LL Jawa auctions. It seems the seller has found as many as four MOC LL Jawas and decided to sale them, but here is how they are "suspect" in my opinion..

Auction Number One (http://cgi.ebay.com/1983-JAWA-MOC-BY-LILI-LEDY-MADE-IN-MEXICO_W0QQitemZ6062444280QQihZ009QQcategoryZ50277 QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)
The seller has three moc versions available and the bin is set at $400.00. Check out the pictures, which are of the same figure.

Auction Number Two (http://cgi.ebay.com/1983-JAWA-MOC-BY-LILI-LEDY-NEVER-OPEN_W0QQitemZ6062629621QQihZ009QQcategoryZ50271QQ rdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)
Same figure and promptly sales for $380.00. Note the buyer, who has sold some LL unused figures of late. No mention of three being available this time.

Auction Number Three (http://cgi.ebay.com/1983-JAWA-MOC-BY-LILI-LEDY-NEVER-OPEN_W0QQitemZ6062497221QQihZ009QQcategoryZ50271QQ ssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)
The same figure that has already been sold for $380.00 and of course the same seller. This one refers to three moc's available. The pictures are the same for each figure.

Please note the reference to "toy store" in each auction. I am pretty sure this is the same seller that scammed Andre out of some serious $$$$. I am convinced these auctions are nothing more than a scam. Please do not be fooled by this crook....

I saw these last night-- what a mess. There's so much wrong with these auctions, and he doesn't even at least try to explain that all the pictures are of the same item.

And check out the shipping charges:
Auction 1:
Shipping Cost: US $45.00 + $45.00 each additional item

Auction 2:
Shipping Cost: US $1.00

Auction 3:
Shipping Cost: US $35.00 + $35 each additional item

... and insurance isn't offered. So it's $135 to ship the three carded figures from Auction 1 together, but $1 to ship the carded figure from Auction 2? Shipping should be the easy part. I wouldn't even bother asking him anything about the figures if his shipping prices are this crazy.

I think banthapro and makero_mx is the same person, just my 2 cents http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'd tell him I won auction #2 first. that's just my .02 lol

The same photos were used a few months ago as I recognise the one with the hand!!

I can't remember who the last Mexican seller was though, it may have been lililedyguy but I could be wrong.

Hmmm, well... I remember a particular Mexican 'Bayer / Scummer who used to fire up, often quite explicitly, http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif in espanol (if this is a firing up comment, it sounds like one to me) when any comments were being made about him that he didn't like... And he was often quite abrupt & condescending, also. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Commonly known as "lililedyguy" on RS, because that was his eBay ID at the time of his thread / selling, his RS ID was "lililedyguy2"...

His other eBay IDs are: (in chron order)
larumberojastauro
lililedyguy
ebond21
lililedydealer

And now it seems like we can add banthapro and makero_mx to the list... more info here (http://threads.rebelscum.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB1&Number=1773040&Forum=,All_Forums,&Words=&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Main=1526142&Search=true&where=&Name=11504&daterange=&newerval=&newertype=&olderval=&oldertype=&bodyprev=#Post1773040).

Anyway, in the original thread (http://threads.rebelscum.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=1526142&page=&view=&sb=5&o=&fpart=all&vc=1) that was posted about him / his items, he responded several times to people whose comments he didn’t like by firing up at them in spanish.

Here (http://threads.rebelscum.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB1&Number=1773040&Forum=,All_Forums,&Words=&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Main=1526142&Search=true&where=&Name=11504&daterange=&newerval=&newertype=&olderval=&oldertype=&bodyprev=#Post1773040) he does me the grace of verballing me in a language I can understand, which was nice, http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif re my comments about him in the thread. What I want to know is how he knew all about my “smooth girly hands”… I didn’t think I’d mentioned them to anyone… http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Back OnT, http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif RS ID: shameonyou is a recent signup, he identifies himself as being a Mexican collector in one of his posts, & his only other post is here, which is a reply to Juan’s comment that he thinks “banthapro and makero_mx is the same person”… So if it is a bit of a critical comment re Juan’s post, then my money would be on it being lililedyguy disagreeing with Juan about the two eBay IDs being the same person, ie him. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

As far as what the post says, my translator gives me:

</font><blockquote><font class="small">Quote:</font>
Ay my dear Islitas,
you go of connoisseur,

[/QUOTE]
I have very little spanish, but from the two translations I would guess it works out to something like:

“Ah my dear Islitas, clearly you’re no expert (at working these sort of things out),”

Anyway, if I’m wrong, then I am happy to apologise profusely to anyone offended, but that would be my guess.

These could be a good translation but this last part of the phrase has a double meaning, so who knows what his intention was.

Ah, well there you go... So, what do you think his meaning (or meanings) were, Juan? What's your best guess, anyway?

Just found this auction:
LL Jawa auction (Number Four) (http://cgi.ebay.com/1983-JAWA-MOC-BY-LILI-LEDY-MADE-IN-MEXICO_W0QQitemZ6062444280QQcategoryZ50277QQssPage NameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

This is the fourth time the same figure has been for sale. If you check the feedback, one of the buyers (banthapro) left comments for the same figure being sold. Funny how the pictures are the same for each "different" auction. Wonder if a fifth auction will be listed...

Ok, well had a guess, appears I got it wrong. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I'm very sorry shameonyou / Alberto, I've obviously taken your post the wrong way. I sincerely apologise for suggesting that you might be giving Juan a hard time over his post, etc. I was obviously mistaken.

As I said, it just seemed very similar to how someone else used to reply to people in similar situations; abruptly in spanish (and he's also the guy this thread is about). So I wondered if it might have been this guy chipping in his 2c about the thread, etc...

Anyway, I've obviously taken your post the wrong way, & I'd just like to very genuinely apologise for my comments / post.

Very sorry about that, http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Has anyone else noticed that eBay member: lililedydealer, formerly lililedyguy is also amongst the glowing buyer feedback for makero_mx... http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Dec, 05:
"EXCELENT SELLER++++++++FLAWLESS ITEM++++++++++VERY FAST SHIPPING!!!!"

And lililedydealer (formerly lililedyguy) has been known to use pics with identical, quite distinct backgrounds to banthapro, as has been noted by myself & several other scummers (http://threads.rebelscum.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=1898804&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1#Post1941029#1898804)... http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

-----------------------------------------------------

I completed a transaction with Banthapro, after some e-mails there was alot of friction and mistrust from both parts, then he talk to me by phone and we were suposed to meet him in person, but he didn't arrive, his brother arrived with the pieces and it was a flawless transaction.
After looking closely to some of the pieces, I noticed they have different COO variations, so my guess are that not all of them are lili ledy (probably I'm wrong), but I'm happy with my purchase. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Banthapro told me by phone he wasn't Makero_mx (who told his name was Marco).
So Makero_mx, Banthapro and lililedyguy aren't the same person if this info is correct.

Banthapro if you are reading this, sorry about posting you and makero are the same person http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/confused.gif.
