Don't know whether to take this seriously or not.

Positive feedback but a distinct lack of activity lately....

I totally agree, plus he would surely get more money if he listed them individually anyway.

Maybe select a couple of figures from the list and ask the seller to e-mail you better pictures to see if he can do it or not. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

HOLY CRAP!!!

3000 Thousand Dollars equals $3,000,000! This collection is worth 3 million!!!!

Seriously, gotta be fake.

He lists figures not pictured, such as his Biker Scout and Yoda (which have the AFA tags pictured but not the figures), aswell as a Rancor Keeper and Han Trenchcoat with no pics whatsoever.

He claims he is selling a complete set of Episode I figures, and then only lists 38 of them - and then shows pics of 20 of them (one is a repeated picture). Problem is, there were 47 Episode I figures.

He lists the ROTS Holo Yoda twice. A small error, but combined with the other misinformation, and this guy seems to not be able to match his listing to his pics.

And yes, it does look like several pics, especially of the vintage, are photoshopped together onto one background. Where is the bottom of Fett?

Anyone feel like asking him for better pics, or to take a pic with today's newspaper next to them as proof? I don't feel like it myself...

This guy doesn't have great feedback either: Only 40 positives, mostly from buying stuff - and only 8 in the last 6 months. Also, his payment options offer no buyer protection.

And what is this? "ALSO ONCE THE NEW MOVIES COME OUT THESE ARE GOING TO BE WORTH SO MUCH MORE MONEY."

I assume this auction didn't time travel from before the prequels came out - so he must be talking about Episodes 7-9. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/confused.gif LOONEY BIRD!

and he only accepts MO and cashiers checks - that leaves the buyer with no saftey net!

I totally agree this is most likely a scam...but 1 thing though, plz don't assume it is based on the fact he only will take money orders & cashiers checks.
I sell on ebay & I only take personal checks, money orders or cash. So, us types are'nt all bad. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/cool.gif LOL

100% agreed. I'm the same way, and I dare you to find anyone who I've screwed over on a sale.

Money orders do have a serial number, and they can be traced to see if they've been deposited. Then it's simply a matter of threatening legal action. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

No, this in itself isn't a sign of a bad seller - there are legitimate reasons for doing it. But the fact that money orders and checks offer very little buyer protection fits with the other aspects of this person's sales habits, especially if it is a scam.

C-3PO auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6050484346&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1)

The photo and even the FLASH on the C-3PO auction is the same. Once again stolen pictures and this is a TOTAL SCAM.
