Hello all;

I'm going next month to Montreal for a week, never been there before.
Can anyone tell me where I can get some SW figs? What kind of shops do you have? How much is a basic figures on average? Where can I get some good discounts, I mean some sales on figures?

Any info will be deeply appreciated

Thanks

Cycy

I live in the Quebec city but I'll give you the name of some shop where you can find them:

Wall-Mart (I's like Carrefour in France)
Toys'r'us
Sears
Zellers

I hope it can help you. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I would recommend you check out Legends when you're in Montreal. It's easily the best toy shop in Quebec and they have a great selection of vintage and modern Star Wars stuff. I'm not sure if they still do or not but they used to have some great SW dioramas set up.

Check them out at www.legendsactionfigures.com (http://www.legendsactionfigures.com) for their location.

Right, I'm coming on Monday for two weeks to Montreal, first time there, can't wait to discover your country. I heard only good things about it and have many canadian friends here in Paris.

Could you tell me what is the average price in Canadian dollar of a basic fig at retail, so I just prepare lots of cash http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Thanks guys

On the west coast, new ROTS figures average around $7.97, with Wal-Mart usually being the cheapest. I assume it is close to that in Montreal. Have fun! It is an awesome city, even if the drivers are certifiably insane. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

You're right on about the drivers, in fact i think they're purposely trained that way!

Darth_Cycy, here on the east coast of Canada figures are anywhere between $7.44 (Wal-Mart) and $9.99 (Toys R Us and Sears). Right in the same range as prufrock gave for the west coast. So basically you can expect to pay anywhere up to $10 Canadian for figures here. Enjoy your trip, Montreal is very fun! If you're walking, of course....

Thank you guys for the infos
This is pretty cheap actually compared to France where TRU sells baic figs between 8 and 10 euros (that's 12 to 15 canadian Dollars)

Can't wait to be in Montreal and discover that country. I may fall in love with the place like many French people did and stay there http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Thank you for your answers, it's much appreciated
