Better than ever, Chewie.

I particularly liked seeing the Twillek's ribcage when Sidious blasts him. (I like the dialogue for Sidious there, too.)

For some reason, the cameo of Rappertunie in Dex's Diner cracks me up. I can't pay attention to the action in the foreground, because my eyes keep going to the naked frog butt. [insert aspersion here]

One question... is there any way to shoot the holograms separately from the background, and then overlay them as a transparency?

They look a little too opaque. We need to see the background through them.

I know you'll look into it, because your skills are constantly improving and growing. That's why this is the best one yet.

That's awesome Chewie! I hope Enloe survives Dathomir!

Another great edition! Your skills are getting better and better! Your dialogue pacing in this one is quite good, and appropriate where needed. I think you also nailed Dookus view of the confederacy where he didn't want terrorists on the side of his 'noble' cause.
Your photo skills keep getting better and better! A couple of shots that really impressed me are the shots of the clones patrolling the streets of Coruscant at night, the shot of Troffar escaping, Trigg getting fried (brilliant!)the holo of the Chancellor addressing the Republic with everyone watching, and the droids investigating Rhen Var.
What are the war machines made from, the ones waiting for Trigg? I really like the look of those.
Nice to see Anakin and Shaak Ti make an appearance as well.

Well worth the wait Chewie. Excellent as always. No offense to anyone elses photonovels, But the Rykrof series is by far my favorite. The work that obviously went into this is just simply amazing. So when is the next one going to be ready? http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

that was awsome, definetly some of the best work i've ever seen, like sitting here watchiing a movie! i can't wait to see more... was that a custom clone pilot driving the speeder that was blown up? it all the little things that make you think that are cool, for example it sounds sort of like enloe is some what of a force adept, feeling the growing darkness since the naboo invasion. very cool story line, great work chewie. i really enjoyed it. do you have your own site that you have your diostories on?

Most impressive....what is Troffar's composition? It doesnt look like ask aak's head, nor the POTF2 or Vintage...and that body is well chosen as well.

Thanks for all of the kind words guys. It's hard to believe this is already the 12th story in the series.

Newborn_Alex - I liked that ribcage showing too. It didn't turn out as well as I'd like, but it's still kind of cool I guess. I don't have Photoshop, and my current program that I do have doesn't seem to have a way to change opacity. I'll keep working on the holo images and see if I can figure something out.

CommanderRedd - If I can accomplish the technology crap for Dathomir, it should be the best story yet. I'm hoping that it's an intense story.

Coeli - Thanks for all of the kind words. This one was definitely more plot driven, and I was afraid that some people would get bored with it. I really had to work to get some of the shots to look decent to keep a view interested. I like the image of Troffar escaping too. That was a last minute addition to the story, and I thought it helped it move along better. The war droids I found at a Sam Goody music store at a mall. They are some sort of robots from the Capcom company.

CrazyaboutClones - Read your comments at JD, and appreciate the nice things you said.

Mike - Thanks. A lot of people are saying this is the best one. I'm pretty surprised and humbled by that. I was very fearful of the response this one might get.

Darth Ennis - Well that's very nice of you to say. I like a lof of other people's stories too. Actually, I always wanted to go into being a film director. That's not gonna happen, so this is my little outlet for doing that. It's fun, and I have a lot of people to share it with.

Jedistyle - At one time I had them all hosted through my hosting service. But I was getting way too many hits on my site to be able to keep them all up. I was having to upgrade the bandwidth about once every 5 days. The first 10 or so should be back up at www.thecustomalliance.com (http://www.thecustomalliance.com) very soon! In the meantime, you can view #10 Depths of Cholganna, #11 - Seige on Rhen Var and #12 - Terror Reborn here anytime at this link - JEDIDEFENDER PHOTONOVEL PAGE (http://www.jedidefender.com/yabbse/index.php?board=47.0)
. Rykrof really isn't force sensitive, it's just through the past 12 stories he has seen things changing in the Republic - kind of similar to what Bail Organa sees, but Rykrof sees more of a military side to it than just politics. He also has had some political experiences though.

Sith Prophet - Thanks. Troffar is made from the following parts -

- Ask Aak head
- Plo Koon hands
- Army of Darkness Knight figure

I did some repainting on him, and here's another pic of him that I showed here a couple weeks back -

Any other questions, or comments guys?

Excellent, Chewie! Loved the story, and the way it was set out (in other words, I liked the pictures http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/laugh.gif). But for some reason, Badoo Corba sounds familiar to me.

Thanks... maybe it sounds familiar because the Badoo Corba was in several other Rykrof Enloe photonovels -

#1 - Crisis on Abridon
#3 - Anti-Jedi
#4 - Slaughter on Munist
#5 - Deception
#6 - Assassins of Evil
#7 - Chaos

They weren't in these ones -

#2 - Underground Resistance
#8 - Traitor Within
#9 - Aggressive Negotiations
#10 - Depths of Cholganna
#11 - Siege on Rhen Var

They're just a terrorist organization that I made up for the series. Mainly because I needed some sort of plot to be going on between the TPM and AOTC time period. This latest story was titled "Terror Reborn" because it was mainly about their reappearance into the series.

Great work, Chewie. Your visuals give your stories a grand stage.

All the customs stuff is cool, from the figs to the locations.

Have to agree with Harrison Ford's quote, "OK, George, you can write it, but can you actually say it?"

Look forward to the future stories!

Well, it all comes down to when www.thecustomalliance.com (http://www.thecustomalliance.com) is updated again. All of them should be up there very soon. I know I keep saying that... but it's whenever Dan Curto has the time to update his site. The reason the first 5 of them are down now is because they were "revamped" some. There is also the possibility that they will be hosted over at www.jedidefender.com (http://www.jedidefender.com), but that's still kind of up in the air I think.

So, you made a Rykrof custom? Cool! I'd love to see it. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks guys, I really, really appreciate all of the positive feedback everyone has given me. I don't really have a good digital camera, I don't have photoshop either. So these are very difficult to do.

And if anyone ever has any crazy ideas for a story, feel free to PM me.

Excellent work yet again, CHEWIE. The amount of detail you've put into these photonovels is amazing. They're great stories. I can't wait to see the plot brought up toward Revenge of the Sith. Again, great customs, too. Did you base the death of the Twi'lek on the novel The Labyrinth of Evil?

CHEWIE
08-16-2005, 12:16 AM
Thanks Professor. I'm assuming you mean the Clones that Palpatine kills in that novel? No, it actually wasn't based off that. But's a good analogy!

For a while I figured that Trigg Fuuda either needed to die or do something really, really big. I figured I could try and do both in having him try to kill Palpatine to gain favor of Dooku. Little did Trigg know until the last moment of his life of the mistake he had made, and just who he had really been trying to kill.

Originally, I had it envisioned that Trigg would be killed by Rykrof, but I figured this was more poetic justice for a leader of a terrorist group. But look out, Troffar the Terrible is a lot meaner than Trigg. And not nearly as naieve.

Just noticed the AT-ATs in one of the holograms, awesome!

How many chapters/episodes are there going to be before you reach ROTS, and are you going to carry on after ROTS? Theres plenty of material to be had there

Yeah, I was hoping someone would see the AT-AT's. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Well, I'm thinking about 4-5 more chapters before ROTS. Then, yes the story will continue past that. I have in my head for a minimum of 50 stories altogether... maybe up to 100 if I am able to keep it going. After all, the OT is my favorite era.

Excellent work, good use of those EE clone 4 packs. What body did you use for thr Rodian terrorist? He looks interesting. Also I don't know if there a Kmart by you but mine is selling thses Knight figures which look pretty good. I think you'd be able to do some wicked customs with them. keep up the good work.
