...let's turn to the rumor list for the Saga line. A new Bib Fortuna was foretold there, and there are many figures that could fit into the waves announced.

If they are refusing to do new vehicles, an electronic gunship should be made. EVerytime they have announced a gunship release, it has been speculated that they would add electronics.

Hasbro claims everythng is too expensive: new vehicles, electronics, etc., but they seem to have enough money to put towards Choppers and Force Battlers. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/confused.gif I know they need to expand their brands and appeal to kids and a wider consumer base in general, but they can't even add one new vehicle or add new electronics to one existing vehicle (an X-wing FX rehash doesn't count as they have already designed the whole thing electronics and all)?

How funny....a buddy and I were just looking at this list just yesterday. Yes, I have a feeling (No, I don't know for sure), that some of the toys on this list will see the light of day in the TSC line.

I know I've left some toys off this list, but I can't think of what they are right now.

Hey Good find! Some of the figures are even labeled "Battle of..." And it highlights the TIE Fighter with "Larger Wings". We might get a lot of this stuff, too bad no vehicles though....

Some of it looks good to G.O but others well im not so sure.

I think Hermi Odle can be ruled out after Ephant Mon's Success/failure unless he is in a deluxe line. But some of great chances of being made such as the new Endor Luke. I guess we will just have to wait and see!

You can probably add CZ-3 to the rumor list. I remember several rumors floating around about this guy a year or two ago. He was supposed to be in the Sandcrawler and then someone else had supposedly "toured" the Hasbro facility in Rhode Island and saw a proto. We'll see.... http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Some of the characters in the list could easily fit into the waves we've heard about. Fingers crossed that some of them make it out into plastic form in 2006.

Please, stop asking for SA figures, people! Paying $10-$14 for a figure is stupid. I can't afford these, won't buy them & I hate being left out because I'm poor like average people are. The EPIII-type articulation is good enough & it doesn't raise the price too much.

I couple of things I'd like to see are: more Ewoks(if Wicket & Logray are released one more time http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/mad.gif), multipacks of everything army builder, different Imp Officers & Endor Luke & Leia(removable helmets & cloth ponchos) Of course, all figures need wrists, elbow & knee articulation.

I agree with Hasbro on their vehicle & playset stand. Playsets especially ARE too expensive to make the right way. How often has a playset lived up to your expectations? Probably never, right? Although, I'd like to see them try a slightly different approach with it. Maybe create thin pieces of cardboard designed like different types of terrain(dunes, jungles, inside of ships, etc.). Then carry it further by including standup trees, rock clusters, chairs, etc., releasing different things like that in expansion packs. It could be completely lame but could be really great if done right.

In the vehicles case, I'd rather pay $20 for 4 or 5 micro machines then the same amount for one large one. Again, the micro-style vehicles should be tinkered with. They should make them in varying scales(like if an X-Wing is one size then a Star Destroyer should be 10x's that size). Anyway, that's my 2 cents.

Um, the #41 clone trooper was SA and it didn't cost $10-$14. All the secondary Jedi were pretty much super articulated (except for a few points here and there) and did not cost $10-14. The Target SA clone did cost more, but that's because it was an exclusive with a very limited production run and not because it was SA. An SA figure would cost the same as any other in the line, except that it has a good amount of articulation. When people are asking for SA, they mean that they don't want action features and they don't want the extremely ticulation seen in the pre-OTC lines. The ROTS line has pretty much been super articulated as far as the majority of collection 2 figures and that's what we are asking for and what wwe would like to see in the future.

Agreed. I think they can make good SA figs for the current price ($5.99 at my Targets and TRU's) and I'd rather see those than some of the dorky poses they come out with.

I think he's talking about the VOTC line, and their Super-Duper articulated figures!!! http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smirk.gif But that was as much package as it was for the articulation in terms of added cost!!!

I would have been much more likely and excited to purchase the VOTC figures withouth the added cost of the star case.

I think a line of VOTC style figures, or SA at 6.99-7.99 would be a winner for the collector's community, and the standard figures at $4.99-5.99 for the kids would be good. all the figures would be the same size, but if you want a figure that requires all of the additional molds, paint apps, and construction, you pay a bit more.

Yeah, charging double the price for a figure because of a star case and a card reprint was completely justifiable. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

In these waves I think Endor Luke is a huge possibility, but I would really love to see an individually carded DSII Jedi Luke.

One thing to point out....although I'm sure most of you know this already...the rumor list linked above is what was rumored BACK IN THE STAR WARS "SAGA" line from 2002-2004.

This is not to say this is rumored for the new "The Saga Collection" which I posted a checklist of yesterday. I've gotten a few emails about this, and I just wanted to clarify this for everyone.

Other that what I posted in the checklist, I don't have any more information (well, I do have pictures!) or else I would have posted it.

As soon as we find out any more info, I'll be sure to post it. And as always, eveerything is considered a rumor until it is confirmed by Hasbro (or another official source).

Queen Jamilia? She may not have a big role, but I'd like as many new characters as possible.
