From a marketing standpoint, no. As far as plastic goes, Hasbro's got a lot of money to deal it. It's just their committing it towards the younger SW collector such as the Playskool lines which are designed for wear and tear. Besides, in this day and age, almost everyone with the right resources can custom make their own.

I hope so, but I'm not expecting to see any playsets from Hasbro. I'd buy any playset they made, even if it was a cardbord one. I love the cantina, even if I wish it was plastic. The only thing that will bring back playsets is the live-action TV series or a nice big rebate check from Lucasfilm. I think they are still trying to pay off the money they paid Lucas for the rights until 2018.

I'd buy any playsets Hasbro made provided it was out of plastic and looked decent. Cardboard playsets may cost less they look cheap and tacky in a set up, a plastic playset is more real.

I thought that when Hasbro released their theme stands that all fit together for the ROTS line that they would start to release their figures each with a playset piece that could all be put together to form playsets. Oh well.

Agreed. Especially when they draw characters on the back drops. Eew. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Don't count on seeing any playsets (or new 3.75" vehicles). Hasbro is too busy messing with "genius" ideas like Star Wars Choppers and SW Transformers.

But, you see... good playsets and new vehicles would be a waste of money.

I think the only playset for this line will be th "Vader Dream Home" so that Vader can park his chopper in front of it. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
