Original auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5978142343&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1)
Current auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5982350094&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1)

He spends $157 on a Special Offer X-Wing with no figures ... relists with two figures stuffed in the box ...
takes a crappy picture of the figures in dodgy looking baggies pretending to be authentic Kenner baggies and doesn't mention it.
The winner will be surprised when his Luke and Han arrive in ziplock bags. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/mad.gif
Not to mention the fact that the SO X-Wing originally came with small head Han....

Shaun: Do us all a favor and find another hobby.

What's even worse is that his pictures in his resale auction don't match. He has two different boxes pictured at least, the stickers aren't the same... look: one is crooked, the other is straight and the creasing doesn't line up.

Those are the two stickers that are on the box-- one on each side.

I enjoy the carefully tucked away bag ends under the instructions, myself. Is that a different ship or just "new" stickers?

It's too bad the idiot actually has some decent pieces at times, thereby luring in the unwary.

My question to seller

Dear brettj666,

You asked:
"Are the two figures the original ones that came with the box? Doesn't look like they are in kenner bags. Do you have any close up pics? Thanks"

The Luke and Han figures did come with this item. The are loose and not sealed. I have 8 pictures on the auction, what do you need close-up pictures of?

I wish I'd have bid, just to drive the price up for the "winner" ;^)

Now im glad I bid. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

That is just sad.

It is obvious he is trying to deceive the bidders by hiding portions of the baggies and then not mentioning them.

Once a scammer, always a scammer.

Well I agree... The guy sold me obvious fake Lili Ledy Bib Fortunas in batches of 5 using shill bidding to get a high price and claiming that it was the last he had (yeah, the last 25 or so that he sold). Who keeps 25 LL Bib Fortunas?!?!?! http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
He has many names and I am lucky to have been able to pay via paypal so they helped me retrieve all the money from him. (he does not accept paypal anymore) It went quite easy so they have probably heard of him before...

Anyway I lost around $50 in customs fees and return postage but it feels good to know that he didn't get any money and had to repay me the postage costs, and hopefully was hit with high customs fees aswell.

Keep posting on this guy so he has to work hard to keep up his scams. Who knows, in time he might come to his sences (I doubt it) or feel that it isn't worth the hassle, and quit. Or get raided by proper authorities that can send him to a deserted island somewhere. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Hi all.

I have been reading all the threads about this ebay seller and I am so surprised. I have bought some items from this seller under the nick of onetofivedayauctions and to be completely honest, the items were original, he was very, very communicative, the package was very secured and he shipped very fast......In fact , I have this guy in my favourite sellerīs section in ebay....plus his feedback is extremely good.....This is like when you first see Anakin in the Phanton menace (little pretty boy, sympathic, smart and nice)..who was going to think that he would become a Human prosecuter when he gets older....!!!I AM AMAZED!!!

Well do asearch on decadetoys or Find! or one of his other aliases and you will find enough stuff on this guy to keep you busy all weekend. I don't know what you have purchased from him but he is well-known for selling fake items, buying poor condition figures and then painting and fixing limbs so he can sell them at a higher cost. Search for the ebay member Find! on ebay and you will find his previous alias. Selling many original but cheap items will get him a great feedback that he can use to sell expensive fake items. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/mad.gif Or look at the mutually withdrawn feedback which of course are negs that he did all he could to remove by refunding and then selling again to another buyer.
He is also currently selling figures that he claims to be Lili Ledy or Trilogo which of course isn't true. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Anyway, no sense in me telling you, just do a search or check out Find!'s feedback.
Not very popular guy on this forum even though he insists on returning under new names to lurk around.

Even a bad squirrel sells a good nut every once in awhile. ;^) That statement sums up decadetoys nicely from my perspective. Make no mistake about it though, he's sold plenty of "bad nuts" over the years...bad enough nuts that his reputation will always remain soiled in the eyes of many, many collectors.

I agree. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif And then there is also the important point that even though a guy sells some of those tasty nuts once in a while, he is still a scammer. And I wouldn't buy the original items he has anyway because I know that he is dis-honest. If guys like that don't get anything sold at all (not even the original stuff) maybe they will loose interrest and spoil another hobby instead.

On a side note; we have our own Swedish forum. (please visit: www.samlastarwars.nu/forum (http://www.samlastarwars.nu/forum) : there is an international section for those very few of you that don't speak Swedish http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif ) And we have decided to boycott all sellers of repro weapons that won't put it in the auction description. And by that I mean sellers on the Swedish equivalent of ebay, (www.tradera.com). And even those selling repros stating that they are repros are urged (via email from several forum members) to remove them to keep the hobby as clean as possible. Most of those sellers remove the auctions or at least the weapons. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif
One seller that refuses to learn more about repros and does not put it in the description has not had many bids on his auctions recently (due to our boycott) and it seems as if he has grown tired of not selling anything and is not putting anything up for auction anymore. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Anyone that would like to issue similar boycotts on ebay? Seems like a simple little task. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smirk.gif http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

All,

Well I was the one that Shaun attempted to purchase from on the board...and alerted MM to the problem. After careful consideration, after he made a purchase(I didn't realize it was him until he sent the money, I refunded his money and told him where to go with it!! http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif Through the information gathered through elements of friendly information, I think he is trying to put together an early bird kit, which I'm sure he will pass off as sealed or unused since I heard that he was willing to pay a significant sum for the 12 pegs I had up for grabs. In addition...I heard from the same source he was interested in my mint Luke DT. This is just a educated guess, but I would be wary of any EB kits that show up.

Shaun, just to inform you if you haven't figured this out yet, you're the lowest form of life anyone could possibly imagine. I formally throw down the glove and join Mike Mensinger's crusade to rid the hobby of this low life. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif

To be fair, he never claims it is unpainted. He actually does call it painted, which it obviously is.

He does use the word "preproduction" to describe it, and I'm not so sure about that. You might as well rip off the head of any Ledy figure and call it "preproduction," because it's the same thing.

Anyone look at Shaun's feedback? 100% POSITIVE. How the heck has he been selling under this name for over a year without a negative???

blutch
05-02-2006, 02:44 AM
Well, he changed the description after I posted it so he might be lurking here... http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Anyway, he continues to scam people but has a 100%. But several neutrals and 4 mutually withdrawn. I think that when a buyer finds out that the item they purchased was fake they leave a neg. But he probably goes to great lenghts to erase it by refunds etc, when he gets caught. I feel sorry for those who never notice the fakes and keep them in their collection as originals. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/mad.gif http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/frown.gif

And judging by the other "Ledys" that he is selling the guy has no idea what is Ledy or not. Or at least on the stuff for sale that he claims to be Ledy... http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/confused.gif (perhaps excluding the AFA-figures that he purchased last week and now sells for at least twice as much...)

To be fair, I also have some of these. Some have painted hair and some unpainted. I got them form Pedro and he told me the Luke was never produced with that hair color, and I've honestly never found one that matched. I hate Shaun as much as the rest but that auction seemed ok. Hell, I've even sold heads for the same price he's asking.

As for him not knowing Ledy, as another poster said, I can't agree with that. He's been selling Ledys for years and *should* know them better than most. However, it hasn't stopped him from selling fake stuff and passing it off as Ledy. It's not his lack of knowledge I'd question just his ethics.

Kudos to Mike and Joe for once again ridding our forum of that infectious scab.

John
