I think forum rules state that you have to post a price.

Sorry I didn't realize I had to post a price. The asking price is $270 shipping included or best offer.

that comes out to about $190 retail though http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Even high balling I figured everything at $206... Shipped maybe another $15 at most... Still a far cry from $270...

and alas either way the price is above current and market value and this thread will most likely be locked http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I didn't realize my price was so high. I had purchased all the items off of ebay. I paid $140 for the clone troopers $60 for the At-rt, $24 for the clone commanders and $35 for the clone troopers with jet packs. That comes out to $259. I thought my asking price was reasonable considering how much I bought the stuff off of ebay for and how much the figures are still going for on ebay. I wasn't trying to rip somebody off.

Welcome to Rebelscum.

Check out the forum FAQ to read the rules on selling here and you'll understand why people are reacting this way.

Basically, if you are selling currently available items (things now available in stores, even if they are sometimes hard to find), then you have to sell them for about retail price. If you are selling something that is not currently available (like a 1995 Power of the Force figure), you can sell it for whatever you want (probably market or "ebay" prices). These policies are designed to prevent scalping.

So, if you'd like to recoup your money, you should try to resell your items on ebay.

If you want to be part of our community and help out other collectors, you can advertise and sell them at retail price here. Many of us on Rebelscum have purchased a hard to find item at our local Walmart or Toysrus for other members who can't find them at their own local stores (and they then pay us back). I hope this give you a feel for the kind of community you are joining--we can be a great source of information and Star Wars stuff!

Cheers, Dan
