Does anyone even know that The O.C. is about? I would
like to know a little bit before I watch the show for an hour just
to watch an ad. Geez, its worse than the Superbowl. Who dreamed
up this tie-in anyways? I wonder if they showed a tralier for Empire
during an episode of "Dallas" back in the day. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Like I've mentioned in other posts ... just catch the end of the show. You should be alright. Back in 2002, the full trailer for AOTC premiered on Fox with an episode of "The Simpsons" ... and it didn't air until the episode had finished.
Now, don't blame me if they show it during the middle of the show, but with things like this, they usually make you wait as long as possible.

It's a pretty crummy show about rich white kids dealing with super-lightweight "problems" in the poshest part of Orange County CA.

And a poor man's version at that. And that's not saying much.

Sounds pretty bad. Say what you will about 90210, but it did produce a double Oscar winner!

That preview for the trailer said "during the OC" the preview will show, so I'm gonna watch it anyways.

If you don't want to watch it just record the OC and when it's over just fast forward through it untill you find the ROTS trailer. Simple and you don't have to watch the show.

Hilary Swank had a two-year run as the character Carly Reynolds.
To go from The Next Karate Kid to "90210" to two-time Oscar winner .....
Who'd a thunk it?

Here is a link where the official site is trying to justify the shamless corporate
tie in. (Not that they even have to)

O.C. cares about Sith (http://www.starwars.com/episode-iii/release/promo/f20050307/index.html)

"You see, the O.C. is all about the Star Wars, because this guy likes Ewoks."

I feel so much better now that a "hotty" like Adam Brody says he likes Star Wars. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Ugh. Nice to see that he feels most like the droids. The acting on that show is pretty robotic. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Actually more like 1/2 a season. She was a single mother Steve was dating.

I never saw her on 90210. Interesting. Then again I think I've only seen that show like 3 times.

Tonight's trailer will be 2.5 minutes long! That should give everyone a pretty good taste.

Also, anybody seeing "Robots" this weekend will see an even longer trailer -- 3.5 mins I believe.

And within a week, I'm sure the ROTS trailer/commercials will be playing widely.

I saw the trailer earlier today, and I must say that I have not been this excited about a SW movie since 1977. This movie is going to be incredible (and full of surprises) http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Set those VCRs - you'll be glad you did!

Good chance that you would have missed her then.

And iHu ... this is the first I've heard of the theatrical trailer being longer than the one that premieres tonight. Where did you hear that from?

Just the last 5 minutes! (For those of you not on EST)
The trailer's freaking awesome!!!!!

If the movie is even half as good as the trailer, I might even buy the DVD! ;p

Seriously, the trailer rocks. Now, where can I download it?

Is it online anywhere yet?

According to starwars.com, the trailer is supposed to be online as of 9p EST, meaning midnight for those on the East Coast. Later even for those across the pond.
Note, though, that you need to be a Hyperspace member to get in and see it.
It does mention a fullscreen version coming out at a "later time" after the bigscreen debut as a trailer at the movie "Robots".

I know what I'm doing tomorrow night after work. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif Wanted to see the movie anyways, this is just the sweetest icing Betty Crocker ever came up with. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/cool.gif

The trailer was good, but the OC was waaaay better. http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I mean, is Lindey going to come back from Italy? Is Dylan going to marry Brandon? Is that one
guy going to extort that other lady cause she was in an X rated movie? Are that one guy, and that other lady I thought was a lesbian back together?

I gotta know!

On a serious note, what can you say about a trailer like that...

It just blew my expectations away. I'm still in the phase of watching it over and over again, but I can already tell this is going to be Palpy's movie, not Vader's.

LOL, yes who can think about mere trailers when the O.C. is on? http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

What can I say... superb, amazing, thrilling... I've wet myself...
I loved seeing Palpatine getting threatening. The noise he made as he lunged at Mace sent shivers down my spine! And the clones turning on the Jedi... it all looked so awesome.

The trailer has just premiered on British TV, but I sat up all night to see it on starwars.com first (5 a.m. our time). I've had to call the office and take a sick day because I've had no sleep.

It was worth it!!!

What do you think - best trailer ever?

I'm not trying to get my hopes up.

TPM & AOTC both had really good trailers.
But both movies were a let down to me. Especially AOTC.

Just because the trailers good, doesn't mean the film will live up to all the hype it brings.

You're right of course... but it's hard to stay calm!
I have to say that I 'had a bad feeling' when I saw the AOTC trailer that it wasn't going to be as good as I hoped... but I didn't feel like that with this one.

We'll find out in ten weeks... http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I dont know why everyone doesnt llike AOTC?? I thought it was good, maybe not the best out of all the movies, but theres always one that has to have more story than action.

I know, I know. I didn't much care for a lot of the stuff in those movies, but this one can't be any worse. And by no means have I been "gung-ho" about Ep. 3 since hearing about it, but after viewing the trailer it seems more interesting than I thought.

BTW... I feel the ROTS trailer was better than the entire TPM movie.
