WOW! I think I'll be selling on eBay tonight? Maybe last minute Christmas shopping?

I don't get it either and I read the full listing 3 times. I have the same 2 DVD's and paid about $15 for each!

I must be missing something as well.. Every once in a while these types of auctions happen and confuse the hell out of me.. Hey, people spend thousands of dollars on 10 year old grilled cheese sandwiches, so why not spend $80 on two movies? lol http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I'm assuming that the widescreen version of both movies is still available, correct?

Disney used to produce limited releases of its classics (may still do). It was common to see a VHS of Lady and the Tramp going for well over $100.

Saw them both at Walmart today for $35 in a 2-pack

That's only the full screen editions. For some unknown reason, they never released a two-pack of the widescreen editions.

Ebay never ceases to amaze http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/wink.gif. You have to feel bad for the poor sucker who dropped the $80.

I guess it all boils down to how you present your item.

Yup. Anyone else remember the "blue jewel" Senator Palpatine? http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/icons/rolleyes.gif

A few runs of the Palps figure had a blob of light blue paint just below the center collar. It waqs advertised as a "blue jewel" variant. You don't want to know how much people paid for these (this was at the height of figure hysteria).

I wish I could write the bidders and tell them that I'll get them 2 brand new, shrink-wrapped editions of both movies for $40 if they give me the other $40 to buy figures with.
