Does anyone else get totally annoyed at the Ep I Ewan scenes that were shot later in the film and edited in? The scenes where he looks 25 pounds heavier and he has that wavy orange hair instead of the brown spikey hair do.

The scene that really sticks out in my mind is on the TF ship when they first encounter the destroyer droid's shields and Obi goes "they've shield generators". There is another scene on Naboo with the gungans when Obi apologizes to Qui-Gon, "It's not my place to quesion you about the boy".

There are a couple of other shots but these stick in my head.

I've never noticed that. I will have to check.

It was a wig I've heard, i's a bit orange in my opinion but nothing that really stands out.

I noticed that a few times but never really saw how much of a difference it was until Durge's comparison...pretty funny if you ask me.

It's kind of like Anikan in AOTC--when he tells Obi-Wan in the arena that he transmitted the message, you can tell Hayden just had a haircut...http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Also when Anakin (Jake Lloyd) says "I don't know where the trigger is", his hair looks like it was just cut.

His hair also looks a tad different when he talks to Queen Amidala in her Coruscant quarters, it's quite noticeable.

Yes. Not only is his hair different, but Jake is noticeably older and taller as well. I'm guessing these scenes were filmed during pick-up shooting.

I never noticed that either. His hair is definetely darker in that scene.

Finally someone notices, I thought I was the only one. And it annoyed me when he got to the Dark Maul fighting it was extremely short and then longer near the end of the fight scene. Semi-noticed the weight change but did'nt stick out too much.

I remember hearing somewhere that when they took a break from filming he shot up 4 inches within a months time and they thought about re-filming the other older shots.

that's their french names
the studio translators changed from darth to dark because french people can't pronounce [th] properly there is no equivalent in french phonetics (kinda like [u] which i believe is french specific)
some other names got changed in Star wars "Han solo" for instance is "Yan Solo" and "Chewbacca" was "Chiktabba" (but only in ANH)
and i think "Alderaan" was called "Alderande"

That's interesting...is it honestly impossible for French people to say "th"?

it's not impossible for french people but very hard we don't have any equivalent to this sound
i've once tried to teach an american friend to pronounce the vowel "u", it was two years ago and he can't do it right http://threads.rebelscum.com/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
