View Full Version : Would anyone be interested in...

I think i got this in 97, well whenever i first saw it on the shelf. I picked up an Emperor Palpatine. When I got home and started looking at it, I notice no walking stick in the package. As far as i know this is a one of a kind packaging error(possibly). Just wondering if anyone would be interested and if so what you would be willing to pay for it.

about $4 maybe less. All POTF2 figs before 1997 are dirt cheap these days.

I'd buy it from you for 2 bucks.

You'd have a better chance of selling this in the Modern Classified (http://forums.rebelscum.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=forum;f=19) so I'm moving it there.

yes, but ebay requires to much info for me to sign up for a selling acct. In other words, not gonna give it to them. Just curious what people would pay for something like this.......

maybe in years to come......

Hey, guys!

Give him a break, he's brand new.

Sorry to break it to you, but even things like that are not really "rare", just an error. They don't have any more of a sentimental value than if it was complete.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Well, by being an error, it is inherently "rare".

The no-circle Boba Fetts are production errors, and are highly sought after.

It all goes back to Economics 101, Supply and Demand.

If no one wants a variation Emperor, then it's only worth what any other Emperor is worth.

i still say i'll give him $2 bucks for it but he'll have to cover the shipping.

I have an Obi Wan that didn't get a lightsaber packed in, so it happens. I personally don't think it raises the figure value very much, but having said that, some of the collectors out there who look for things like this are willing to pay some money for it. It's just a matter of finding them, so hit the Marketplace, Ebay, etc.

In the end, everyone is willing to pay different prices for figures based on what they themselves find interesting. And not having something packed into the figure is definitely not the norm but rather the exception. But will it pay a mortgage? Chances are good it won't.

Good luck!
