View Full Version : Her Blue Saber

04-30-2001, 02:26 AM
I picked up a BLue Obi-wan saber for $6.99 at KB's for my daughter and I to dual with. I also have the maul saber which was $4.95 at TRU. Here is my daughter igniting her Saber below. On my site, I have a pic of her with the Maul saber and if you roll your curser over it, she will go into attack formation. Follow the link in my Sig, then click on my daughters star wars page.

YES! Little kids playing with opened toys!
You are a great dad to let your daughter play with such cool toys.

On Friday, a friend of mine and his wife came over and we dueled with my lightsabers while his wife took some photos. I'll post them here when I get the film developed.

We also played the 4 muvie version of Star Wars Trivial pursuit. I whoopped *****!!!!

Awesome, my daughter is always lighting up her saber and hitting things with it. I think she has watched to much Star Wars or me playing with one by myself. LOL

Love seeing kids playing with toys
3 weeks and counting till our first born and when that child is old enough they will definately be learning to play with toys.
A favourite with my friends son are my podracers he loves running around the garden trying to catch me or have me catch him he also loves anything that shoots hence my cats get nervous when he comes over http://www.collectstarwars.com/ubb/images/icons/grin.gif

Cute girl Chewbacca! I love the picture. There is nothing better than seeing a child play with Star Wars stuff. When my daughter is old enough (she is only 20 months old right now), I plan to give her my Qui-Gon lightsaber.

I notice your daughter is in an empty portion of the room. Remember, toddlers, lightsabers, and full curio shelves do not mix. Believe me. http://www.collectstarwars.com/ubb/images/icons/mad.gif

Ok, in the spirit of this thread, here's a pic of my little guy Edwin. I can't believe he's almost 2 1/2 years old now!

We should move this thread to Wuher's though where it'll get a bit more attention though... http://www.collectstarwars.com/ubb/images/icons/smile.gif

Oh, and Edwin said I should put R2-D2 on this post...

Chewbacca, please move this to Wuher's, I wouldn't have seen it without your email!

(Dare I point out that Chewie99 isn't a moderator of Ep 1 and cannot move this thread even if he wanted to? naaaah! http://www.collectstarwars.com/ubb/images/icons/wink.gif)

Very cool pics folks. The Luke Jedi saber is my all-time favorite, though the Obi-Wan one is 2nd best in my book since it's blue and loud (though it's MUCH thicker than the Luke one). I wish I had the vader saber though. I gave my Qui-Gon one to my niece because she didn't really care which saber was which, so long as it was a lightsaber toy. http://www.collectstarwars.com/ubb/images/icons/wink.gif

I've said this before and I'll say it again, kids playing with Star Wars toys is the best. I cannot wait until my 8 month old and I can get together and play with the Star Wars toys!

Update-SHe is getting good with the maul saber. I have to sometimes actually protect myself with a swift swing of my blue saber when she comes at me. She is going to become a great Jedi- I have forseen it!
