I just completed my acquisition of all the GG 12 inch figures that have been released. I'm looking for ideas in how to display the figures in the package. Part of me thinks displaying them loose would look amazing which would also save on space.

Most of mine are displayed loose here in my old repurposed gun cabinet, I made the 3 vintage style backdrops just fooling around with photoshop and some of the wifes scrapbooking supplies :whistling:.
They just take up too much real estate in the boxes for me to display all at once. My solution was to make a shadowbox that can hold 4 at a time- kind of framed as if the were works of art (which they are to me!)

That's a sweet set-up! Exactly what I was looking for. Looks like you can squeeze even more in by overlapping the cards even more.

I am trying to find a print shop to enlarge an Early Bird backdrop, it would need to be 52" square (with the bottom and Space Club Card) but no place so far is willing to look the other way on the whole silly Copyright Infringement thing. Was also thinking of trying to mock up an "original 12" plastic stand, but same issue with the backdrop.

I am displaying them on top of my cabinets, some of them with their 6" Hasbro counterparts :)

I had to display mine loose in Billy's. Sealed for the exclusives, i would have liked to keep them all sealed, but they take up to much space.

I went with Billy for my display as well... and made the same space saving decision to display them loose. Still on the fence about buying a second Billy to keep up with new releases? :O)

I printed my own early bird and both cantina backdrops, pics are on page 1. Mine are downsized to fit the cabinet I'm using but you could just as easily scale them up to any size you want. I used a very old copy of photoshop, there are probably better options out now but I couldn't say for sure. If I really cared I would redo it with photo grade paper and proper adhesives instead of scotch tape but you get the idea, it can be done at home with a high res image and a printer. ps I have the images if you want to give it a try.

This is by far the best and sane way to display and collect these. Good luck collecting 100 of these on card and looking even half decent.
