View Full Version : FS: Cheap Loose Figures - Mint Figs From Damaged Cards $2 each - POTF2 to SAGA

Okay, I've got a ton of loose figures from a collection I recently bought. In order to do this a bit more orderly and not to pack up a bunch of $2 orders, I have divided them up into lots based around loose themes. The lots will be priced at $2 per figure ($10 for 5 figure lots, $8 for 4 figures, etc.). I've got a few of the more desirable figures at the bottom priced individually. Prices do not include shipping, but shipping should not be much.

Every one of these figures is dead mint and were pulled off damaged cards by the collector I purchased them from. He bought a couple of bulk lots of beat up cards, put the figures in the bags and never touched them again. They have tight limbs, good paint and come with all the original accessories.

Shoot me an PM if you are interested in anything! I am interested in trades for MOMC vintage collection that I don't have and/or Pre-issue 200 Amazing Spider-Man Comics.

****6/08/2012 EDIT - THESE ARE NOW AVAILABLE INDIVIDUALLY, THE PRICE FOR THE FIGURES IN THE TOP SECTION IS $2 EACH, THE BOTTOM SECTION FIGURES ARE PRICED AS MARKED****

Just noticed this new thread, PM sent a few weeks back regarding figures paid for about 6 weeks ago. Thanks

bought from twice . extremely slow shipper ,took almost a month both times 1st time I figured I would give the benefit of the doubt . Kept saying things were sent and then it showed up with a post mark from 3 days prior . Granted I did get my stuff but I had to send one of the figures back for being not as described and only got a partial refund for the figure and no return shipping .

just the facts .

bought 4 figures and they were received in a few days, but one "complete" figure was incomplete. Pedro said he would refund it but never did.

I'm working a deal with him, but now I'm a little concerned.

His PM box is full too.

I just did get a response yesterday stating that he sent my figures 2 days after I paid, but here I am still waiting for them :(

Pedro, tried to send a PM to talk about options (resend figures if you have dupes or refund) but your inbox is full. Please let me know. Thank you.

Also, not sure why the original FS thread has been locked?

That's very disappointing to hear. I hope everything works out for you. A Mod probably locked the old one because he started this new one.

I was also going to buy some things from him, but now I'm not. Too many concerns with this seller.
I may be harsh, but there really is no excuse in my book for not sending out items or taking the time to communicate with a buyer.

Even when I was dying in the hospital 2 years ago, I got back in touch with everyone once I was discharged. Two week delay at most.

Hope everything works out for everybody concerned.

Okay....whoa guys. Have been away and I come back to see this. It's true that I haven't had a lot of extra time to work on SW deals lately. I've got two little ones with two more on the way and work has gotten very busy. I also generally trade in the vintage section where the occasional slow shipping is generally tolerated. Perhaps I've gotten a little lax.

By the way, the limit on the PM box is ridiculous and I'm certainly not trying to avoid people by not being able to get PMs.

Let's try to solve some of these problems.

@AaylaSecurasMan - will talk about options for sure, frustrating that they never arrived since that package was one that was very promptly sent out. See above Re: PMs.

@Eric_Taylor - Don't remember that particular deal, but I thought "pay your own shipping" for returns was pretty standard. I've done it myself a few times for sure. I certainly don't recall you being upset about it at the time.

@redwillow - Definitely did forget your refund and I apologize, just sent you a refund of $3 for the original $2 figure

@SWpotf2 - I assure you I'm not a flake, just got a little behind - I'm certainly not trying to scam people $2 at a time

I've cleared out some space so shoot me some PMs and let's get the rest of these figures gone!

PM's are long gone , but it was for a vintage power droid described as c-9.5+ that had a scratched sticker and paint wear on the feet that I had to send back , " pay your own shipping" would be fine if it was some error of mine , like I had asked for the wrong item , but the item was either mis represented or the wrong one was sent ? But didn't even get the full refund for what I paid for the figure and after several PM's over a couple weeks to see when my stuff had shipped and you telling me it had , only to get the package with a post mark from 3 days prior when it finally did arrive , after the partial refund I sent off a PM and never heard back ... so I just chalked it up as a loss because I wasn't going to spend anymore time over a couple of bucks .

that being said , I did get the other stuff I had bought but it took a long time and I wrote you off as a seller , which is too bad because there have been other things , even stuff in this in this very thread , you have posted I would have bought but due to your so called "occasional slow shipping " which seems to be with every deal , you are losing out on potential sales . It's not acceptable in the vintage section either , look in the watch out section and you will see threads e.g. " has anyone heard from .... " because someone is not answering PM and hasn't shipped in a timely manor .

I'm sure you are a decent enough guy and all , but I have said on several occasions , and speaking generally not singling you out on this one either, but it's just rude to buyers to think that your time is more important than theirs . Everyone has real life to deal with as well , you aren't the only one with kids , or got sick or had to work a bunch of overtime or whatever other reason people can give for not getting stuff out in a reasonable amount of time or returning PM's . Some people buying items might need them in a timely fashion as they might want them for their kids , or for a trade , or they may have a sale their trying to complete that might be missing an item they are buying to finish a set , or someone might need something as a replacement for a broken or lost item they sold already , or they just want the stuff they paid for because they could have bought it elsewhere 5 times over with out all the hassle of having to send several PM's asking where the stuff is and sweating the fact they may have gotten ripped off .... could be a ton of reasons but 3-4 weeks + on shipping is just unacceptable , bottom line if you have time to get stuff together to sell , take pictures , post a for sale thread and set up deals and take someones money , you need to budget time to pack and ship .

So that being said let me offer some tips that will help you or anyone else out on the whole process . Because it has made my trading/selling flow so much more smoothly since I have been doing it this way . I work 2 jobs and sometimes get called in on days where I thought I would have the time to get stuff shipped out

First thing I recommend is to go buy a small shipping scale , I picked up a digital kitchen scale that does grams and ounces for under $10 and this has been invaluable , not only can I give an accurate amount for the cost of shipping , I am not making a low estimate and under charging for shipping , sometimes an extra half ounce can cause the shipping to go up a couple of bucks . So , well worth it . There are tons of them on Amazon and Ebay in this price range shipped .

I have also found you can print 1st class shipping right off of pay pal along with DC and insurance if you want . If you are shipping priority you get free DC as well , 19 cents for 1st class . You can also print certain international shipping off there as well .

Printing your own shipping label is another huge time saver , I hate going to stand in line at the post office , so I pack stuff up , weigh it out , print my label and I can either hand it off to the mail person , or just drop it at the counter at the post office , or the drop box , with out having to wait in line .

So literally I can have something packed and ready to go with in 5 minutes of receiving payment , and if I am going to be around the next day I hand it off to the mail carrier or just drop it off on my way to work . You don't even have to be that fanatical about it , I'm sure 99% of the people on here are fine with taking a few days to ship or even waiting until say Saturday , if that's the only time you have to get stuff out . Just as long as you let someone know what's going on . I just bought something with a money order and after I got it sent , it only took around a week between sending the money order and me getting the figures from across the country .

Anyway , hope this advise helps , and if you or anyone else needs help or links or other questions to assist with shipping , seriously , shoot me a PM and I can walk you through the process . Once I did it myself I couldn't believe I had ever wasted so much time going to the post office . And hope you get all this stuff squared away , because it will help with sales AND repeat sales if you get stuff you sell to the buyers quick .

I appreciate the frequent bumps to this thread, but I don't need a lecture...Eric, I clearly messed your deal up and I apologize. I don't remember exactly what happened, but I'd love to do another deal with you to make it up to you, or I'll buy something from you and you can take forever to ship. That one screw up is not indicative of the type of seller I am, I have 750+ feedback on eBay (98%+ positive) and have done well over 100 deals on Rebelscum with minimal problems.

I just did a couple of deals last night which are both going out today, I hope those people wouldn't mind posting when they get their items. Those deals are much more indicative of the type of seller I am.

No issues, this is my first transaction that didn't go quite right, I am very patient thus the reason I didn't follow up for the first 3-4 weeks, I know we all have a life, but a simple PM just stating that the figures were sent out the day they went out would give me an indication on when to receive them and then follow up. At this point I'd appreciate a refund, thanks.

Why can't you break up the sets?? I could use alot of the figures but like 2-3 from each set I don't need the rest if I send a list of which one's I need will that work?
