Thoughts?

At first I was kinda against it siding with Mr. Moore, but after reading some sound logical arguments & finding out some of the talent behind the project, I will be keeping my fingers crossed that it'll be decent. In the end, I love these characters & am eager to find out more about them.

General article with the different mini-series covers & creator quotes & links:

My first impluse & reaction was to agree with Moore:

I'm cautiously optimistic about this idea (and this is the first I've heard of it). I'll give it a shot when they come out.

I hope they are Good and Accepted by the comic book readers - to me Moore has become a big whiner about his past work. He really hasn't put out anything I would consider really good in years, maybe Dave Gibbons had more to do with the success of Watchmen then Alan Moore leads people to believe.

blah blah blah Blight hates comics, I'm cautiously lukewarm to the series it's one thing if it's a homage but another if it's continuing

Watchmen is the greatest story ever written. This is blasphemy.

Most overrated comic story ever written perhaps. It is very good but best ever? I disagree.

Anyone that did not see this coming once the movie became profitable is freakin' blind. I'm gonna wait and see how it turns out before I cry blasphemy.

This was very expected. I just kind of expected it alot sooner.

I thought Watchmen was an above-average read, so if these live up to that, then "no harm, no foul".
