Gone With The Wind. I think you need like a day to see this epic film straight through.

That is a LONG movie! It even has an intermission. Got the bluray from netflix when my wife was on bedrest. Glad I saw it and it looked great. Definitely an epic and at least for me, a one time viewing. Scarlet O,hara is kind of a jerk.

i have been meaning to see Casablanca and There Will Be Blood. Last night my wife was surprised to learn that I haven't see The Sound Of Music so maybe that too. For some reason I have never been interested in it.

Gone with the Wind was not my cup of tea, don't quite know why, but Sound of Music, IMO, is a great movie, seen it a couple of times and never disappoints.

I have been meaning to see Schindler's List and Saving Private Ryan for a long time but never get around to it...

The Muppets. I want to see it in the theater, but I REALLY hate children...so I may be forced to wait for it to come out on DVD.

God forbid if the laughter and ruckus of children were to interrupt your glorified puppet show and totally ruin any enjoyment for you. :friendly_wink:

There are so many movies I want to go see in the theater, but I just don't have the time.

The Thing (the new one). The theater by my house didn't show it. The 1982 The Thing is one of my favorite movies and I know this new one will never live up to it. I just want to see how bad it is.

if it did not have such big shoes to fill it would be a pretty good movie on its own right.....it does not hold a candle to the 82 version though.

No kidding. Maybe try a late show? Not many kids see the 9:30+ start times.

Some film called "Star Wars", it looks like it'll be a cheaply made, low budget $2 movie bin dvd :p

Without spoiling too much for you, it's not a remake. :) I enjoyed it.

And I've been meaning to see Paranormal Activity 3 for a while.

its kind of a prequel and a remake at the same time....its a premake. It won't take fans of the original long to figure out what is coming next because most of the movie is beat for beat the same basic plot.

I think your reply would've been better in this thread, "http://forum.rebelscum.com/t1074104/"

The Hurt Locker and There Will Be Blood are others that I've had in mind too.
