I may end up getting just the 4 cantina aliens. And I hope they offer a Blue Snaggletooth exclusive next year at SDCC or CVI.

I hope you are right! I hate to say it, but I think I'm done after Blue Snags if they make him....I've almost run out of shelf and closet space, and my wife says star wars collecting must stay in one room only.

I ordered one, but, seriously, a price INCREASE?

That's the last thing this line needs.

Yeah, can't wait to see in hand pics of this one, specially the ones from Kaneda ;) sitting in that awesome loose display that he has.

I got mine yesterday. Anyone else get overspray on his mouth?

I've seen about a dozen of these in person and they all had the green overspray on the "mouth." I'm sure GG will tell you it's intentional.

And the blaster is REALLY loose in his hand. I'm seeing a pattern emerge with this line - there seems to be issues of varying degrees with almost all the figures. I got my Gamorrean Guard today too, and he does not stand solidly, even given his size and weight. I've had to position him forward to get him to stand as well as I can. Hammerhead - another figure I finally got today and he's also not great. This was one of the figures I was looking forward to most too. This line should be the easiest to get right. I've never known an entire range of collectables with so many problems - and one that's based on figures done over 30 years ago!

Hey looks like they got his hands wrong.

The vintage figure has green gloves only up to the wrist.

This one looks better if left on the card. :awesome:

This one isn't terrible. Mine also has the overspray. But really, this figure, amongst other vintage figures, was never accurate to the movie version. The head is shaped wrong, and where's the vest? Why is he wearing a bright orange turtle neck? Why are his eyes totally different from that in the movie??? Some of these vintage figures were always bad. lol

But for what it's supposed to be, it's ok. Still needs more gloss like the rest of 'em.

When Kenner originally started making these, a lot of times, they only had 1 or 2 photos for reference and had to get these out the door as quickly as possible to apease the fans starving for star wars merchandise. Sometimes the reference photos were anly headshots, so the sculpters had no idea what the rest of the character looked like and had to use artistic licenses just to finish the figure. Example: Snaggletooth. They didn't know he was supposed to be a short character, which is why we have 2 versions now.

That makes sense. Hammerhead's clothes are all wrong as well. I have the more accurate Sideshow version and it's nothing like the old Kenner figure.

Anyone have a pic with him and other three Cantina figures in the Cantina Display? Not sure if I want to try to find the background.
